SEASON '27 NFL DRAFT RANKINGS, QUARTERBACKS/RUNNING BACkS

 Another change this season will be no more pre-season rankings. I will compile lists over the month of SEPTEMBER as the games are played before I rank the players, this will enable me to keep my lists up to date though the season.

In OCTOBER I will begin my 2027 Draft rankings, these rankings will be updated weekly and provide more accurate insight into my feelings on players entering the draft. Also, this will provide an early look and my final rankings.  As in my Draft analysis, I use my own eyes and metrics to rate players.  I also break down some positions differently than most. I find this very important and the root cause of so many mistakes in the draft process. Even with all the advancements today many, many NFL executives and Draft analysts are still operating in caveman modes of years gone by and failing!!   New for this season I've added a Comments section just for some added context clarifying my opinion on players.

4.CJ Carr                             NDme     6-2     215      Should take a big step this season with improved WRs.

6.Darian Mensah              Mia(F)   6-3      205     He has made great strides yearly, will it continue?

7.Julian Sayin                    OSU       6-0      205     Has all the intangibles, size, arm strength are questionable.

8.Conner Weigman          Hou       6-2      210     Finally started living up to his HS hype. Can he continue?

9.Trinidad Chambliss     Miss       6-1      205    Smart, experienced, mature, tools decent but not elite.

10.Jayden Maiava                USC    6-4     225     Getting better yearly, needs a big step.

11.Rocco Becht               PennSt    6-1     209      Tough, gritty, solid in all phases but elite in none. 

12.John Mateer                    Okl      6-1     235       Great athlete, needs his throwing motion completely reworked!

13.Sam Leavitt                     LSU      6-2     215      A year with Kiffen should help.

14.Gunner Stockton           Ga        6-1     215      Another tough, gritty competitor, career B/U material!

15.Nico Lamalleava         UCLA      6-6    215      Has great size/raw talent, head HIGHLY questionable

12.DeSean Bishop         Tenn     5-10     210       Could move up this list, shows major potential but offense has not produced NFL talent.

13.Jordan Marshall       Mich    5-11     216       Shows good vision, limited athlete, needs major work in pass game.

14.Lucky Sutton              SDSt    6-1       225       Great size, broke out last season, non-factor in pass game, that must change.

15.Cameron Dickey       TxTch  5-10     215      Shifty runner, good in pass game but average athlete.
