ROUND ONE
Pk Team Name Pos Sch Grd
1.Jacksonville Trayvon Walker DE Ga D
Great raw athlete who as I thought tested off the charts. Problem is that his production NEVER got close to what his physical traits said it should be. He looks and tests like Chase Young but does not play close to that. 9.5 sacks in 3 seasons are very pedestrian numbers. He may be a decent player but will be considered a bust.
2.Detroit Aiden Hutchinson DE Mich D+
As I said he would be he was overdrafted. I'm quite sure he will be a fine player but he will never live up to the hype of being #2 overall, look for a Clowney type career, he will be a better run defender than pass rusher.
3.Houston Derek Stingley CB LSU A+
My BEST PLAYER in the draft! I was surprised he went this early but pleased. Fills a huge need.Look for him in a Pro Bowl and on the All Pro team sooner rather than later.
4.NY Jets Ahmad Gardner CB Cinn A+
Another of my Top players. Day one starter, great pick who fills a desperate need, he will have numerous All Pro seasons
5.NY Giants Kayvon Thibideaux DE Ore B
Another great raw athlete in the DE group who just never had the production that was expected of him. While he did have some explosive moments consistency overall was painfully lacking..
6.Carolina Ikem Ekwonu OT NCSt A+
Very intelligent and complete player, only question id where do you play him. At OT where he will be very good or at Guard where he will be yearly in the All Pro conversation yearl, the choice is easy to me but we will see.
7.NY Giants Evan Neal OT Ala A+
Elite athlete for size, has Oralndo Pace potential if he can find the drive to achieve that level. Few have those gifts, he should have went higher. I once thought he may have to move inside but last season showed he did not.
8.Atlanta Drake London WR USC B
A very nice player but the WR board was wide open and better options were available, still look for a nice career.
9.Seattle Charles Cross OT Miss St A+
Another premier athlete for the OL. Great in pass protection and if his run blocking improves as his atheticism implies it should he will be a steal here.
10.NY Jets Garrett Wilson WR Ohio St A+
I had him as a TOP 10 player, great fit for any scheme. Best hands in the draft and an underrated athlete. Even the Jets cannot screw him up.
11.New Orleans Chris Olave WR Ohio St A+
An exremely rare player from the Slot WR group who has value this high, he can play outside as well but with his deceptively quick and shifty nature and surprising toughness he can be special inside.
12.Detroit Jamison Williams WR Ala A-
The top deep threat in the class, only drawback is he will be limited some this season due to the late injury he suffered in January. Only scratching the surface of his ability.
13.Philadelphia Jordan Davis NT Ga D
Tested off the charts for his size as expected, 4 years of inconsistent production are worrisome and guys this size also have poor longevity numbers over history. Very risky pick.
14.Baltimore Kyle Hamilton FS N Dame A+
Tremendous athlete, position of need and a great fit for scheme, he checked all the boxes here. Great pick.
15.Houston Kenyon Green G Tx A&M A+
Two for two for the Texans. A great pick for a team with a pourus OL to be kind. He will start from day one and be there for 10+ years, look for Green in the Pro Bowl very soon.
16.Washington Jahan Dotson WR Penn St D+
Typical poor Washington pick. I had him as a 3rd round Slot WR. They will try to play him outside and it will not go well. He has quickness but his slight nature will get punished outside.
17.LA Chargers Zion Johnson G Bost C B+
Nice player just to early, they must have liked him and I see why but with no 2nd round pick they had to reach a bit here, I had him as an early 2nd . He will have a very nice career.
18.Tennessee Treylon Burks WR Ark A+
OUTSTANDING pick, maybe the best in round one. he will start day one and produce and several teams above will regret passing on my #1 WR,
19.New Orleans Trevor Penning OT N Iowa B-
A moderate reach here, they had a mid 2nd and he may have lasted that far. Still look for him to be very good, I had him late 2nd.
20.Pittsburgh Kenny Pickett QB Pitt D+
Well I called it when I said Pickett would get drafted way to high, he will struggle to beat out Trubisky who is below average on good days. If he were drafted in the 3rd like I graded him the pressure would not have been so immense, this will not end well.
21.Kansas City Trent McDuffie CB Wash A
Maybe just atouch early as I had him as a late 1st, splitting hairs there though. Big question is if they insist on playing him outside in their scheme, that would be a mistake! Elam would have been a better pick if that was their plan.
22. Green Bay Quay Walker OLB Ga B+
Just a bit early for me as I had him mid 2nd but the fit works and it is a serious need so they gain points for that, my opinion is he still would have been there for pick #34
23.Buffalo Kaiir Elam CB Fla A+
Great value here for my #3 CB, he has all the tools to start day one, fills a need and was one of the top players left on the board.
24.Dallas Tyler Smith OL Tulsa F
I had him as a Guard and a late 4th round grade Another guy I'm not sure where he plays, they must like him at OT, not me! Yes there is some upside to this athletic but very raw player but 1st round pick are expected to deliver day one and that will not happen.
25.Baltimore Tyler Linderbaum C Iowa A+
My #2 Center and OL upgrading was wildly necesary regardless of what Lamar Jackson had to say. He will be very pleased when this guy help his career last!
26.NY Jets Jermaine Johnson DE Fla St A+
My # 1 DE/Edge defender. Intense need and he should start day one and produce and excellent value at this pick, super pick.
27.Jacksonville Devin Lloyd ILB Utah A+
Great pick, versatile athletic ILB who will fit well and could end up in some Pro Bowls, he will be a big help to that mess in north Florida.
28.Green Bay Devonte Wyatt DT Ga C-
Kind of a theme in Green Bay this round, just to darn early. Nice player and he was my #1 3-4 DE so the fit is there but he would have been there later, these reaches hurt teams both short and long term.
29.New England Cole Strange OL Chat F
WTF! Bill has a history of some terrible draft picks and this one will soon be added to that list. Is he a OT, A Guard A Center? Nobody is really sure but one thing I'm sure of is he would have been available at least 3 rounds later when the price to find out would have not been so high, WORST pick of the round!
30.Kansas City George Karlaftis DE Pur A+
Outstanding value here, great fit for the scheme with his versatile nature and his being a great technician, rock solid pick.
31.Cincinnati Daxton Hill FS Minn A+
Great pick, I had him early 2nd so no real reach here, he will start day one and have a long and prosperous career.
32.Minnesota Lewis Cine FS Ga D+
Major reach here with better options still on the board, nice player with upside but he would have been there much later.
ROUND TWO
Pk Team Name Pos Sch Grd
33.Tampa Bay Logan Hall DE Hou F
Has all the tools but production/consistency has been lacking, a major reach here and he could have been had in round 4 or later. Very limited technically, raw, unrefined and the NFL usually chews these types up fast.
34.Green Bay Christian Watson WR NDSt F
They fell in love with the test numbers like I said someone would and reached tremendously here, great athlete but insanely raw and unready to contribute for some time. They will likely force the issue because of extreme need and it will not go well except for a few flashes, this pick likely will not age well.
35.Tennessee Roger McCreary CB Aub C-
If they expect him to step in and play outside as I suspect drafting him this high, he will play due to need but be in the lower third of the league, they will be disapointed. He has tools for the slot CB position but lacks the long speed for the outside. This is also to early by about 50 picks for him.
36.NY Jets Breece Hall RB Iowa St A+
Another gret pick for the Jets. While not a primary need he should be a significant improvment and help that offense from day one. Great value, fits well with scheme, all around a player not to pass on.
37.Houston Jalen Pitre FS Bay D+
Just way to early for a raw, underskilled but excellent athlete. Expect little from him in season one and he may never excell. Need is high at the position but several much better options were available. He should contribute on special teams but much more is expected from a round 2 pick.
38.Atlanta Arnold Ebiketie DE Penn St A
They called him a DE with pick but he will play OLB in their 3-4 set. That's where I rated him an early 3rd round grade so a round early but need and scheme fit gain them points, I like this solid pick.
39.Chicago Kyler Gordon CB Wash F
Great size and a gilfted athlete but production never was anywhere close to what it should have been. His size and test numbers impressed someone as I knew they would, this will not end well.
40.Seattle Boye Mafe DE Minn D
Another raw player who tested well and that got him drafted much higher than he should have. He does have an intersesting skill set and could be effective in the right scheme, but that will take time and patience.
41.Seattle Kenneth Walker RB Mich St C-
Not a primary need and a round early for this one year wonder. Better options on the board for this team. Walker will be a rotational back at best and high 2nd round picks should be full time starters.
42.Minnesota Andrew Booth CB Clem D-
Another major reach here as I thought would happen. This player is soft, inconsistent and lacks the long speed to excell at the position. He has nice physical traits and has shown flashes but wants little to do with run support. 4th/5th CB at best.
43.NY Giants Wandale Robinson WR Ky B
I had him at a late 2nd grade so only slightly high. My big question is need and fit. He is only of this value in the slot where they already have my last years top SWR Toney but he has been a head case so where does Robinson play? If they try to play either ouside they will be limited so I'm confused on the thinking. But with their GM confused is the stae of normalcy in NY!
44.Houston John Metchie WR Ala D+
A nice player but 2 rounds to high, he would have been there later and the needs of this team are many! Also I must question fit, where does he play? Does not have great athletic ability so he is very limited outside and Brandin Cooks is in the slot, this is way to high for a part time possession receiver. Better outside options were on the board.
45.Baltimore David Ojabo DE Mich F
Another player I knew would be wildly over-drafted. A one season, one trick pony. Wildly athletic but very limited technically and that will cause issues. The scheme in highly questionable for his skill set, will be nothing but a limited situational pass rusher, more is needed from a 2nd round pick
46.Detroit Josh Paschal DE Ky B
I see him as more of a DT but in their scheme this just might work, a round early for me but not a terrible pick at all, he should have a nice career.
47.Washington Phidarian Mathis DT Ala B+
Solid pick, fills a need, fits the scheme my only issue is this was a round or so early. still a solid pick who should contribute from day one.
48.Chicago JaQuan Brisker SS Penn St A
Solid pick at this point, not a primary need and some players at positions of need would have possibly been a better fit. Right where I had him rated, very good player who should be an improvement at the position
49.New Orleans Alontae Taylor CB Tenn F
I'm curious to know what the hell they saw to prompt this monster over-draft. If you LOVE him fine he would have been on the board in 4th/5th round for sure! Do they see him as a FS where they have a serious need because CB is solid. This was a three strike single swing to me. How the hell do some of these guys get their jobs?
50.New England Tyquan Thornton WR Bay D-
Great size and measurables but with his complet inconsistency I cannot figure out why Bill wanted him as that is one of his pet peeves. I had an early 5th grade on him so he is about 75 picks early here, I'll be amazed if he is on this team in 3 seasons.
51.Philadelphia Cameron Jurgens OL Neb D-
I had this slightly undersized but very athletic player at a Mid 4th round grade with developmental potential so thats a 2 round reach for me, they are solid at Center and I see that as his only position so starting seems unlikely. A position change could happen but he will be a below average Guard at best. Just an odd pick givin who was still on the board. A 2nd round pick who rarely plays leads to GM's getting fired.
52.Pittsburgh George Pickens WR Ga A
If he gets his head and body together this will be one of the top steals in the draft. Wildly talented but temperamental player who is one year off an ACL injury Great size, speed and technique when right, flashes have been very impressive, tremendous ability, fills a need and should fit right in as a #2 WR. I think he will be healthy but who knows if he can get his head right but still a great gamble at this pick.
53.Indianapolis Alec Pierce WR Cinn A-
Great size and one of the top deep threats in this draft. I had an early 3rd grade on him so only a very mild reach. If he cures his concenttation lapses he should fit right in with the young and impressive WR corp forming in Indy. Nice solid pick.
54.Kansas City Skyy Moore WR W Mich F
I had him a late 7th round bgrade, I have no idea what they saw that I missed, average athlete who was good for one season in the MAC. He fills a need but if they think this guy will be another Tyreke Hill they will be wildly disapointed. At least a year away and he will never be above middle of they pack.
55.Arizona Trey McBride TE Col St D-
Nice size but not an elite athlete by any stretch. He will struggle to get open in NFL, he will catch what is thrown to him when open but i do not see him ever being better than a bottom third of the league starter or a TE2. They already have a nice starter in Ertz so need was not there either so this pick is confusing.
56.Dallas Sam Williams DE Miss C
A very interesting player, great tools but had only one good season. Just to early for me by several rounds but he should be able to be a rotational player right now and quite possible with some patience develop into much more. Fills a major need on a poor defense, may end up playing to much for his own good.
57.Tampa Bay Luke Goedeke OL C Mich F
Confusing pick to say the least A limited athlete who has not played that much at the MAC school. I had him at a RT Mid 7th grade so to take him this high with the players still on the board is a MONSTER reach. He can play guard I do not see him getting past being a backup, if he is starting Brady will be in grave danger and that will not go over well at all.
58.Atlanta Troy Anderson LB Mont St D+
I had an early 5th round grade on this HIGHLY athletic 2 year LB from the FCS. Fit is excellent because he will not have to start this season and can learn, scheme is a solid fit also. This was as good of a scenario for him and gives him a serious shot at success, still just to early for a player likely 2 years away, he will help on special teams.
59.Minnesota Ed Ingram G LSU C-
An effective and at times dominant run blocker, very strong but not he best athlete, better option were available. he will be a liability in pass protection and need some work there. I had him at an early 4th round grade and I feel good about that, he has some developmental potential in the right scheme but this is just to early.
60.Cincinnati Cam Taylor-Britt CB Neb D
Two rounds to early, he has some ability but not at CB, if they play him there he will fail. As a SS he could grown into a fine player and have a nice career, still a significant reach here.
61.San Francisco Drake Jackson DE USC A+
This is another pick to watch as the best of the round, I had him at a Mid 2nd grade but scheme was CRITICAL, he must play at DE in a 4-3 set and with Bosa on the other side he could absolutely flourish! Great fit and need, this was an outstanding pick.
62.Kansas City Bryan Cook SS Cinn B-
An interesting overaching big hitter who is average in coverage but shows the skills to improve. About a round early for me but the fit is good and fills a need
63.Buffalo James Cook RB Ga A+
This was a smart pick, I had an eary 3rd grade on him so no real reach, great fir for the scheme and should be an instant upgrade at the position and create anice rotation of RB's to keep them healthy and sharp. Not many better fits for his skill set.
64.Denver Nik Bonitto LB Okl A
My only question with this pick is need. He is a great scheme fit, versatile, athletic great size and I had a late 1st grade on him so value here is excellent.Question is where does he play but my guess is they will have to find a spot for him to get on the field. They may have had bigger needs but just could not pass up on this talent that slid well below where he should have
ROUND THREE
Pk Team Name Pos Sch Grd
66. Jacksonville Luke Fortner G Ky F
Older 6 year player with some versatility but likely would have been on the board in round 6, Wildly to early here, I have his best position as Center, poor scouting and research led to this pick.
66.Minnesota Brian Asamoah LB Okl A
Solid pick, he should provide instant rotational value versatile but undersized player has a high ceiling in this scheme, can be a star on special teams to increase value while he develops a role.
67.NY Giants Joshua Ezeudu OL N Car C-
Thick technically sound player with some versatility, a round to early for me and do not expect much from him in year one and they will and be disapointed, needs work but has upside.
68.Cleveland Martin Emerson CB Miss St A+
Right where I had him rated, injuries the past to years at CB have hurt this team so need is real, fits scheme well. Solid strong run and pass defender with the ability and size to play anywhere in the secondary, very nice pick. Should excell on special teams increasing value.
69.Tennessee Nicholas Petit-Frere OT Ohio St A+
I had a late 1st grade on this highly athletic player who can play either OT position, this will be one of the rounds best picks as time goes on.
70.Jacksonville Chad Muma LB Wyo A
My #1 MLB prospect. My big question here is fit but he can excell at ILB in a 3-4 also I'm sure so that will be a minimal issue, great value and he should contribute day one and likely be starting soon.
71.Chicago Velus Jones WR Tenn D+
A couple of rounds to early for this raw but intersesting developmental player with excellent KR abilities. The need is real and fit is fine. Victim of poor QB play and coaching in College so he will need time but skill set in there for growth. Do not expect much on offense this season. Better options were on board.
72.Seattle Abraham Lucas OT Wash St A+
Great pick for fit and need, pass protection NFL ready day one, neeeds a bit of work in run blocking but has all the tools to be a day one and long time starter.
73.Indianapolis Jelani Woods TE Virginia A+
Great pick here. Value is sound, I had an early 3rd on him. Need not extreme but look for him to TE 2 on day one and to be starting by year end, fit is excellent. Former QB has only been a TE for his college career, still developing with wild upside.
74.Atlanta Desmond Ridder QB Cinn A+
My #2 QB this year and he goes around later than I rated him so good marks there, fills a need for a young QB and will not have to start day one and that is a HUGE plus. Solid fit in scheme. This is an ideal situation for him to develop. If they are smart they will keep him off the field most of this season and completely out of pressure situations. This pick has high potential to be tremendous.
75.Houston Christain Harris LB Ala A
Parts of his game are NFL ready but needs some work in coverage, fills a need and a nice scheme fit. He should fit nice on special teams while he learns what he needs to. I had an early 2nd grade on him so value is high here.
76.Baltimore Travis Jones NT UConn B-
They needed an upgrade here and he is, also the scheme fit is perfect for this massive NT but it's just to early by about 50 picks. They could have had him next round for sure. Giant physically impressive player who could well develop into a quality starter very soon with some work. So I'm giving them abreak here.
77.Indianapolis Bernhard Raimann OL CMich C-
A round to early for this former TE who while athletic is still learning the position, expect nothing in year one and much angst about this pick, he does have upside but a couple years away.
78.Cleveland Alex Wright DE UAB F
Massive scouting error here, he would have been on the board in round 6 for sure and I had him in my UDFA pool. Young kid with some talent and a great frame, he had eligibility left he should have used. He sure looks the part but on the field his game is inconsistent on his good days and invisible on bad ones. Wasted pick.
79.LA Chargers JT Woods S Bay F
Major reach and miss here, he plays like a CB but is a Safety. To me he will be a tweener who plays on special teams and will be an end of the bench DB. I saw him as a UDFA. This was poor scouting.
80.Denver Greg Dulcich TE UCLA C
About a round early for me, primarily a big WR who will offer little in blocking. Very talented and explosive as a receiver so perhaps the want him to start. Need is questionable as they started a rookie last season and do not run alot of 2 TE sets so scheme fit is also not there. Odd pick with a much better option still on board.
81.NY Giants Cordale Flott CB LSU F
Another major miss here on an average player with size and good test numbers who just does not perform to anywhere near the level he should. UDFA for me and a wasted pick here, do not be shocked if he is cut or on practice squad.
82.Atlanta DeAngelo Malone LB W Ky A+
My #1 OLB in a 3-4 set! Great fit for scheme and look for him to force his way onto the field sooner than most think, great value here as I had him with an early 2nd grade.
83.Philadelphia Nakobi Dean LB Ga A+
This could end up one of the top steals in the draft, He fell for mysterious reasons . I had a late 1st grade on his in a 3-4 so schem and fit are not perfect but the talent is real and I believe he will still excell.
84.Pittsburgh DeMarvin Neal DL Tx A&M A+
If I could give a higher score I would. Always a need, scheme fit is perfect, I rated him my #1 DT but he almost was my #1 5 Technique DE so this versatile athletic player brings alot to the table. He will contribute from day on and look for him on the All Rookie team at least. Just a great pick !
85.New England Marcus Jones CB Hou A+
Much better pick for Bill this time, great fit and fills two major needs so value is high on this player who should be a fine CB3 working the slot and the top KR in the draft, absolutely lethal in return game!
86.Tennessee Malik Willis QB Lib A+
My #3 QB and he also goes around later than my rating . He does not have to start or even play this season so that is perfect as while he has the best all around tools in the QB class this season he is absolutely raw as can be. Great kid, wild physical traits and he doesn't have to start, absolutely ahome run pick here!!
87.Arizona Cameron Thomas DE SDSt B
About a round reach for a serious need but this may work out. He will need to add some bulk to his frame to be effective in a 3-4 but as I said in my ratings he has that ability with ease. He really stepped up last season and had he gone back I think he would have been in the round one talk next year. Great fit, serious need , solid pick just a bit early.
88.Dallas Jalen Tolbert WR S Ala D-
Another major reach here, player has some ability but I had a 5th round grade on him. so very early and poorly scouted. Reaching for need never works out and this will not either. Much better options were available.
89.Buffalo Terrel Bernard LB Bay D+
Far to early for this undersized but very athletic LB who I saw best on the inside but he will play WLB here. Likely to be a special teams star, good team so he will not need to contribute more than tha but still a major reach this early.
90.Las Vegas Dyan Parham OL Mem D
I had a mid 6th round grade on the former TE project with upside. This reach here will put pressure on this solid run blocker to perform quickly, he needs a year or two of hard work, if given time he will develop.
91.Tampa Bay Rachaad White RB Ariz St D-
An overdraft here, at least 2 rounds! I had him in Mid 6th round. Has all the tools but never was able to put it together. Fine hands and may be of use to the Bucs as a 3rd down back but better options were available
92.Green Bay Sean Rhyan OL UCLA A+
Great pick. Fills a need as many injuries on OL last season, very versatile having played LT most of his career, I see his best spot at RT but will be a very capable Guard also, great value here and just asolid pick.
93.San Francisco Tyron Davis-Price RB LSU F
Wild reach here! I had him in my UDFA pool, one dimensional power back with no 2nd gear. I would like to know what they saw I did not. No matter what they could have got him 2 rounds later and much better option were on the board. Terribile wasted pick here.
94.Carolina Matt Coral QB Miss A+
My #1 QB finally went here. Some odd rumors were circulating before the draft helping his slide but he fell to a team with great need at the position and he is a solid fit. I still have confidence in him and believe he will be starting before long even if the NFL execs do not, remember most of them thought JaMarcus Russell was a good pick.
95.Cincinnati Zachary Carter DL Fla A
Great value here, I had if at a Mid 3rd grade. Really not a significant need but this versatile player who was my #4 DT will force his way onto the field somewhere. He can play inside or outside and should be in the rotation from day one and get some serious snaps
96.Indianapolis Nick Cross S Md A+
Look for my #1 SS to win the starting job and have an ALL Rookie season. Tremendous value here, fills need and scheme fit, Excellent pick.
97.Detroit Kerby Joseph DB Illinois D-
Far to early for this marginal NFL athlete. I had a early 6th grade on him and upside is limited. Likley just a special teamer with some end of the bench DB skills, not 3rd round worthy. Poor scouting, he would have been available much later.
98.Washington Brian Robinson RB Ala A
Great pick here, the big power back with speed was my #2 RB and he will be a rotational RB from day one and expect him to be getting most of the carries the 2nd half of the season. Need was not high but he fits well in scheme and this is over a round later than I rated him so value is high..
99.Cleveland David Bell WR Pur A+
Solid value here as I had an early 3rd on him, Fills amajor need and is an excellent scheme fit. This crafty technically excelllent player with the 2nd best hands in the draft will make others mad they passed on him.
100.Arizona Myjai Sanders DE Cinn C-
Good value here , I had him at an early 4th grade. Need is there but fit is VERY questionable, they plan to play him at OLB and I do not see the 3-4 as where he belongs. A great athlete but coverage skills are very lacking and his pass rush is much better with his hand on the ground but we will see if this fine athlete can make the switch. About 75% cannot so we will see.
101.NY Jets Jeremy Ruckert TE Ohio St B+
Only odd thing is they loaded up with FA TE's so the need was not there at all and they do not play alot of 2 TE sets either. Great value as I had him my #1 TE with a late 1st grade for this under utilized player in college. has all the tools to become a star TE, no major weaknesses and excellent upside.
102.Miami Channing Tindall LB Ga B
A round early for him but not a major reach. Should be a rotational player here and special teams ace from day one so that helps value. he has some upside for sure.
103.Kansas City Leo Chenal LB Wisc B-
I liked him around later and in a 3-4 set so fit is questionable, he should still have some success and be a solid special teams player on a very good team.
104.LA Rams Logan Bruss OL Wisc D-
I love Wisconsin OL but this is wildly to early for this one. Versatile and well coached player who will need to be inside due to his limited athleticism, I doubt you will ever want him as a full-time starter but he could be in the league for years as a backup. Would have been there in round 6! This grade stands on this reach.
105.San Francisco Danny Gray WR SMU A-
One of my "SLEEPER ALERT" players. I had a mid 4th grade on him so value is solid, need was marginal but he should provide instant rotational value. Slot is his best position but he will need to play outside also here which he can do.
ROUND FOUR
Pk Team Name Pos Sch Grd
106.Tampa Bay Cade Otten TE Wash B+
Tremenous fit and right where I had him rated. Brady loves TE's. My idssue is that there were better options available but this scenario is perfect for Otten.
107.Houston Dameon Pierce RB Fla F
I said when I rated him in my UDFA list that many had a higher opinion than me on him, well here it is. RB# with some short yardage ability at best No 2nd gear.
108.Cleveland Perrion Winfrey DT Okl B+
Great value, right where I had him rated, they are in dire need of versatile DL depth and he fills that, is he a DE, a DT I had him in the 3-4 DE group but with some work and some lbs he can fit nicely inside, solid pick that could work out .
109.Seattle Coby Bryant CB Cinn A
Great value, I had him early 2nd! Not a major need but scheme fit is solid, watch for him to surpise and be playing major snaps by mid season and wildly overplay this draft position, could be the best pick in the round!
110.Baltimore Daniel Faalele OT Minn A+
Great value, scheme fit and in agood position due to him not having to start day one. This run heavy offense is a perfect scenerio for him to have some time to learn. Great pick.
111.NY Jets Max Mitchell OT ULL A+
Another excellent pick, great value, I had him late 3rd, solid fit and developmental depth was a need, give him some time and this superb run blocker has the athleticism to develop into a quality starter.
112.NY Giants Daniel Bellinger TE SDST D
Much better options available and need was not high, fit is solid but this limited athlete I gave a late 6th grade and I'll own that, odd pick but it's the Giants.
113.Washington Percy Butler S ULL F
Typical Washington pick. Makes no sense to draft this tweener here. UDFA at best, to small to play Safety, to slow for CB, wasted pick.
114.NY Giants Dane Belton S Iowa D-
Way to early for another tweener, played in a hybris type role that will not lead to much at this level. Likely a special teamer and end of the bench backup.
115.Denver Demarri Mathis CB Pitt D+
A round or more to early for this CB who I see in the slot only. Soft and will be very limited on special teams also, speed is marginal at best, career backup perhaps.
116.Denver Eyioma Uwazurki DE Iowa St A+
Great value, I had a late 3rd on him, great fit in their 3-4 set as he can play any position on that line, I like him best at DE in that setbut he can and has played inside. Fills a major need also, great pick
117.NY Jets Micheal Clemons DE Tx A&M D
I had a Mid 6th on him, wildy inconsistent throughout his college career, not feeling the need was there and they think much more of him than I do, we'll see who is correct. Purly a developmental player.
118.Minnesota Akayleb Evans CB Mo D
I see him as a mid 6th at best developmental FS. At CB he will fail, could become a solid special teamer. Just way to early for that.
119.Baltimore Jalen Armour-Davis CB Ala C+
Over a round to early here. He does have great size and overall measurables but there have been injury and consistency issues. Should be of immeadiate value on special teams and has developmental upside.
120.Carolina Brandon Smith LB Penn St A-
Tremendous value on my chart, Mid 2nd grade! I saw him best as a OLB in a 3-4 and they will play him strong side in 4-3. He can for sure but not his best spot. Serious need but we'll see if he fits.
121.New England Jack Jones CB Ariz St D
Far to early for this very tough but undersized slot CB. He does have interesting special teams possibilities due to his toughness and attiude, but still 7th rounder at best.
122.Las Vegas Zamir White RB Ga D+
Still around to early for this back. RB3 on most teams, could develop into a rotatioal piece, very limited in pass game, no 2nd gear.
123.LA Chargers Isaiah Spiller RB Tx A&M A+
Nice pick here a round later than my rating, solid scheme fit , this should work out well for both parties.
124.Cleveland Cade York K LSU A-
Desparate need, great value here as he was my highest rated K ever at early 3rd round grade. Only drawbak is fit, he is a southern guy and the late season weather outside in Cleveland WILL be a challenge for him, with some patience he can overcome that.
125.Miami Eric Ezukanma WR Tx Tech F
UDFA for me. Major reach for this tweener, outside body but slot skillset, he will struggle. There is a reason for Miami's recent struggles.
126.Las Vegas Neil Farrell DT LSU F
Wild overdraft on a DL ,What? Is Mayock back? Monster reach, terrible fit for this player I gave a late 6th NT rating, he willstruggle mightily ina 4-3, wasted pick.
127.New England Pierre Strong RB SDSt A-
Nice back but a round early for me but they are in need of some speed in that backfield so I will not penalize them to much for the reach. He really might surprise in this offense.
128.Baltimore Charlie Kolar TE Iowa St A-
Great value here, I gave him an early 3rd grade, tremendous scheme fit but with Andrews catching 107 balls last season I do not see him playing more than TE2. Hopefully more 2 TE sets will come.
129.Dallas Jake Ferguson TE Wisc C-
Nice TE2 prospect but little more, another reach for the Cowboys, shocker!! Just to early and better prospects on the board for this solid player but 6th round talent.
130.Baltimore Jordan Stout P Penn St C+
My #4 punter but he does have some nice upside, versatile and will be KO specialist on day one. fills a need, nice fit, he is a northern guy. Just to far toearly and better prospects on board I had hi in 7th round.
131.Tennessee Hassan Haskins RB Mich D-
He lasted longer than I thought he would but still way to early for this one dimensional power back with no real speed and limited in pass game. I had him at early 7th, RB3 at best. Don't be shocked if he get cut.
132.Green Bay Romeo Doubs WR Nev A+
Huge need and solid value a round later than I had him. Should fit well in scheme and see the field soon. Could easily evole to a solid WR2 in the scenario, very nice pick.
133.Tampa Bay Jake Camarda P Ga D
My #3 Punter so better options available, only a Punter so no versatility but while he is a good one I just do not understand the thought process here.
134.San Francisco Spencer Burford OT UTSA A
Drafted as an OT, he will not stay there and will be starting at Guard possibly as soon as late this season. this versatile player will see the field this season somewhere, great value, nice fit and excellent developmental depth.
135.Kansas City Joshua Williams CB Fay St D-
Expect a year or so on practice squad for this nice sized developmental small colleg player. Very raw and this is far to high, I see him as a 7th round pick and with FS potential, not CB..
136.Cincinnati Corden Volsen OT NDSt B
They need OL depth big time, solid fit just a round early for this very versatile, developmental small college player. He will need time, possibly on practice squad but the raw ability is very interesting. Not ready to contribute much right now, it's up to him how soon he sees the field.
137.New England Baily Zappe QB W Ky A-
I really like him better than most, my only problem with this pick is QB2 is about as high as he will get with Jones entrenched as the starter. After his rookie contract he will be a starter somewhere.
138.Pittsburgh Calvin Austin WR Mem D-
Way to early, I had an early 6th grade on him. They aready have the slot position filled so that leaves him as a KR and his experience is limited there. I do not understand this pick at all
139.Baltimore Isaiah Likely TE C Car C-
Nice value, I had him at early 4th. But how many TE's are they planning to play?? Strange pick unless they plan on playing this highly athletic player as a big WR.
140.Green Bay Zack Tom OL W Frst B
Love the value as I had a late 2nd grade on him as my #3 Center, problem is where are they planning to play him? I'm not feeling Guard is his place even though he was solid at OT last season, I would lessen high value considerably there. Perhaps they will shuffe bodies.
141.Baltimore Damarion Williams CB Hou F
Another smart, tough but undersized player with very questionable long speed player. He is my UDFA class and that is where he belongs, major reach here, odd for the Ravens, they see something I did not.
142.LA Rams Decobie Durant CB SCSt F
Tough, quick, smart but undersized player from a weak small college program. The transition will be tough, I had him at PFA, he will need some serious practice squad time at least.major uneeded reach here.
143.Tennessee Chigoziem Okonkwo TE Md F
Well he did get drafted by one of the few teams he might be able to make by playing a H-Back role, I just do see anyone else drafting this very raw player so why waste a 4th round pick on him? Poor scouting and judgement.
ROUND FIVE
Pk Team Name Pos Sch Grd
144.Washington Sam Howell QB N Car A+
A rare very good pick for Washington. Great value, I had him at early 4th, nice fit and a developmental QB was needed. Even a blind squirrel finds anut now and then.
145.Kansas City Darian Kinnard OL Ky A+
Likely the best pick of the round and perhaps the entire draft, he will be starting at RT where I had him or Guard where he can also excel, look for his to make All Rookie team and be called a STEAL, I had a late 1st value on him.
146.NY Giants Micah McFadden LB Ind B
Nice value, I had him late 5th, fills aneeds for depth at ILB, he should have little trouble adjusting to their scheme so solid fit, better options were availabl in my opinion so they loose points there.
147.NY Giants D J Davidson DT Ariz St F
Big, slow player with no versatility. NT only so he fits but far to early and much better options on board.
148.Buffalo Khalil Shakir WR Boi St A+
Great value, solid fit, need questionable but he should be an upgrade so OK there also. Great scenerio for him to flourish in, nice pick and he will see the field this season.
149.Washington Cole Turner TE Nev C+
Not bad value, I had him a round later. Purely a reciever at this point, better options on board for sure but not a terrible pick.
150.Houston Thomas Booker DL Stan C
They get this grade on value only, I had him mid 3rd. While they had a need the fit s awful, he is NOT a 4-3 DE or DT and that will show, just a terrible fit for this very athletic player
151.Atlanta Tyler Allgeir RB BYU F
Big power back with limited athleticism and versatility, I had him as a UDFA. Major reach here.
152.Denver Delarrin Turner-Yell S Okl F
Way to early for a player who barely made my UDFA list, Undersized for Safety, not the skill set for CB. Purely a special teamer and while he could be good at that he would have been nthere in round 7.
153.Seattle Tariq Woolen CB UTSA A+
I struggle with the fit on this pick but I believe Pete Carroll is one of the few smart enough to move Woolen to FS and let him be a star. I had him at Mid 2nd but that is at FS, at CB he is just a CB3/CB4 player. I hope for him I'm correct on all points, this kid has skills. If he stays at CB the garde would drop to B-
154.Jacksonville Snoop Conner RB Miss D+
He has some upside and low mileage but just too early for this developmental RB2 at best.
155.Dallas Matt Waletzko OT N Dak C-
Don't hate this pick just to early for a player who definetly has swing potential but VERY raw and willl need to spend a year on the practice squad at least.
156.Cleveland Jerome Ford RB Cinn A-
Great value , I had him at early 3rd, nice fit in offense but not really a need, perhaps they just could not pass on value, he will be RB3 for now.
157.Tampa Bay Zyon McCollum CB Sam Hou F
Fine FCS player with size and he tested well. He is two years away from maybe CB4. He will not see the field this season barring injuries, practice squad player who may never be more. Much better option available.
158.Seattle Tyreke Smith DE Ohio St D-
Yes they neeeded depth on DL but this is a major reach for a player who was a career underachiever and never lived up to close to his potential, that likely will continue, he will need at leatst ayear on Practice squad.
159.Indianapolis Eric Johnson DT Mo St F
Small colege player who looks the part but was only solid at that level. Worth alook but as an UDFA, not here. Look for him on a practice squad or two, or three, or four near you.
160.LA Chargers Otito Ogbonnia DT UCLA A
A touch early but solid fit and need, he will adjust to NT rather easily and contribute this season, solid pick.
161.New Orleans D'Marco Jackson LB App St B
One of my SLEEPERS in this draft, great value , I had him Mid 4th, they need depth at LB , fit is questionable as they look to play him inside and I see him best at WLB but that may change once camp starts. He definetely can play MLB but not his best spot. Should contribute on special teams but better options were available.
162.Denver Montrell Washington WR Samf F
A very undersized average WR and KR from the FCS, stupid wasted pick! Wildly better options available. Like the next player chosen.
163.Tennessee Kyle Phillips WR UCLA A+
Great value, fit and need also there, he can also help KR game, just a great pick in Round 5, may end up the best in the round.
164.LA Rams Kyren Williams RB N Dame F
I had him in my UDFA class, all others MUCH higher. For me this is still to early for this back who I see struggling to find a position, 3rd down back? Slot WR? Or just out of the league in two years?
165.Minnesota Esezi Otomewo DE Minn D
Serious reach here, solid fit and need but to high for a very inconsitent player who will need significant practice squad time, UDFA for me.
166.Cincinnati Tysen Anderson S Tol A+
Nice value pick here, excellent fit and Safety depth was needed. Solid , smart but not overly athletic player who will likely become a core special teamer rapidly, excellent pick.
167.Dallas DaRon Bland CB Fres St F
If I could give them a lower score I would, fine you saw something myself and others did not,. There would have been no UDFA rush to sign this guy with one average season at FBS level, wasted pick who will be lucky to make practice squad.
168.Chicago Braxton Jones OT S Utah A+
Great long-term potential for one of my favorite small school guys. Great athlete, frame and developmental upside. He definetly can be a starter with some coaching and patience. Great pick here.
169.Minnesota Ty Chandler RB N Car B+
Solid value here, has some developmental upside for sure, fit solid but need was non existent so points lost there. Should make team as an upgrade at RB3
170.Houston Teagan Quitoriano TE Ore St F
WHY?? He would have been there in late 7th. A player who had no business even in this draft yet picked here, just a waste of a pick.
171.Denver Luke Wattenberg C Wash A+
Solid value here for a well coached mature player with versatility and high IQ, should become a valuable piece on this team in dire need of depth inside.
172.San Francisco Samuel Womack CB Tol F
UDFA for me, has some developmental ability on a poor team but they have little need at CB so he will be a special teamer maybe, he would have been there in round 7, better options on board.
173.NY Giants Marcus McKethan G N Car F
Massive and intersting player with intriquing developmental upside that will require at least a year on practice squad, just too early for me, I had him in UDFA class.
174.Chicago Dominique Robinson LB Mia(O) F
They plan to play him at 4-3 DE and he could with work provide some depth, I see him best as a developmental 7th round 3-4 OLB where his size and athleticism as aformer TE would be of great benifit. Way to early for such a raw player who would have been on the board in 7.
175.Las Vegas Matthew Butler DT Tenn A+
Great value, fit and need there also, I had a late 3rd on him, he will be a solid rotational player this season, very nice pick here.
176.Dallas Damone Clark LB LSU A
The better option other geams( Giants,Saints) will regret passing on. Excellent value, scheme fit but not a primary need but should be an upgrade over their current backups. He should be of great value on special teams.
177.Detroit James Mitchell TE Va Tech A
If healthy he will see the field this season and likely ascend to TE2. Fine reciever, great value here, solid fit and needed upgrade at position, solid pick.
178.Dallas John Ridgeway DT Ark A
Great value, I had him as a late 3rd NT. Big question here is scheme fit, for me he is a pure NT not a 3 Tech player as he will have to be here. But value outweighs that so the grade is better.
179.Green Bay Kingsley Enagbare LB S Car F
Solid player and drafted right where I had him but the fit is terrible, as a 3-4 OLB he will fail, does not possess the athletic ability to play the position. Best as a 4-3 DE and a rotational one at that, wasted pick..
ROUND SIX
Pk Team Name Pos Sch Grd
180.Buffalo Matt Araiza P SDSt A
My only issue with this pick is can he adjust to the Buffalo weather in late season. Outstanding prospect with the best leg in the class.
181.Philadephia Kyron Johnson LB Kan C-
Solid value here, but fit does not work at all, his spot will be as a situatioal pass rush specialist and far better in a 3-4 set. I see him 2 years away if at all as a SLB, time will tell.
182.NY Giants Darian Beavers LB Cinn A+
Solid pick, great value. I had him in the 4-3 group but said he could fit here also, look for day one help on special teams and for him to become a sitsuational piece of the defense.
183.New England Kevin Harris RB S Car A+
Great value here, actully a perfect fit and fills a need for RB depth, outsatnding pick.
184.Minnesota Vederian Lowe OL Illinois A+
Solid 5 year starter with versatility, look for him to be around the league for somer time as aswing OL, excellent pick here.
185.Buffalo Christian Benford CB Vill F
Nice sized FCS player who I did not rate, marginal athlete and perhaps projects better as a Safety, I do not like this reach with much better players available.
186.Chicago Zachary Thomas OT SDST D
Limited athlete with some versatility, much better option were still on board, UDFA for me and a reach here to fill a need of OL depth.
187.San Francisco Nick Zakelj OT Ford C+
Small school 4 year starter who will neeed a season or more on practice squad, a round to early but he has some decent upside with some hard work and patience.
188.Detroit Malcom Rodrigeuz LB Okl St C-
I had this high output overachiever in my UDFA class but I'll not be shocked if he makes me eat those words and this grade. He will help day one on special teams.
189.Carolina Amari Barno LB Va Tech A-
The only issue I have with this pick is fit, he is on the small side for a 4-3 DE, I liked him much better as a 3-4 OLB but with some weight work this pick could seriously work out.
190.Atlanta Justin Shaffer G Ga A
Excellent value here, powerful run blocker who will need some pass blocking work. He has excellent developmental upside and minimal risk here as he should be a solid rotatioal player regardless.
191.Minnesota Jalen Nailor WR Mich St A+
Nice value here right where I had him rated, solid fit and need as there is no rush to play him. He does have some interesting developmental potential, has deep threat possibilities. Solid pick here.
192.Indianapolis Andrew Ogletree TE Young St F
Former Dll player who spent one season at FCS with very pedestrian numbers. Great frame and decent athlete but he will be fortunate to make the practice squad.
193.Dallas Devin Harper LB Okl St F
The Dallas scouts seeing something nobody else does, again! What a shock! I did not even rate this player and stand on that assessment!
194.New Orleans Jordan Jackson DT Air Force F
Great size but marginal athlete at best, far to early for me. Nice player but as with all service Academy players one must wonder if his focus is elsewhere as it should be.
195.LA Chargers Jamaree Salyer G Ga A+
College LT who will need to learn the inside game, he definetly can and be a steal at this point of the draft. Look for him to get more reps as season evolves, excellent value here.
196.Baltimore Tyler Badie RB Mo D-
Don't understand this pick, no need, not really afit for their style, unless the plan to play him in the slot this one puzzles me, and they usually do not.
197.Jacksonville Gregory Junior CB Qua Bap F
Another small college player not worthy of a rating in my opinion, nice size and decent athlete but the level of comitition was very poor, 2 years and some hard work might get him to CB4, wast of a pick here.
198.Philadelphia Grant Calcatterra TE SMU B
Once highly thought of and if healthy this pick could work out nice, still early for the gamble but I will not hit them for that much, He is an excellent reciever when healthy, not much esle but he could find a role.
199.Carolina Cade Mays OL Tenn A+
Great value, fit and need here for one of my SLEEPER picks in the draft, he likely will be starting somewhere on that line by seasons end. Versatile and underrated by most!
200.New England Sam Roberts DT NW Mo St F
Another major reach for Bill on a small school player. This one has a limited resume but tested well as I thought he would, very raw and at least a year away from any contributions.
201.Arizona Keontay Ingram RB USC F
He barely made my RB list at all, never was able to ascend to a #1 RB in college, if you wanted to give him a UDFA look fine but do not wast a pick when a FAR better option was available.
202.Cleveland Michael Woods WR Okl F
Major reach here, I did not rate him at all! He does have some skills but never was able to be a full time starter. The need is very real, fit is soso as he will need considerable work and practice squad time to have a shot, better option were available, wasted pick here.
203.Chicago Trestan Ebner RB Bay A+
The better option I spoke of. Solid value here, excellent fit and an upgrade in the RB room, do not be surprised if this player with soft hands is RB2 by seasons end, also has intriqing KR potential. Excellent pick.
204.Tennessee Theo Jackson S Tenn A+
Great value here for as player who really has stepped up over the past season, I had him in my CB group but FS can definetly happen. Still has some issue but nice size, quality athlete, very nice upside and should excell on special teams day one, solid pick.
205.Houston Austin Deculus OT LSU C-
He will need to check his ego at the door and play wherever asked, once a lofty recruit who never developed but still can make a team as a backup swing OL if his head is right.
206.Denver Matt Henningsen DT Wisc A-
My only issue with this pick is fit in their 3-4, he would thrive as a 3 Tech DT but I wonder if he can as a 5 Tech DE, still the value is hard to pass up here.
207.Chicago Doug Kramer C Illinois D
Very intelligent hard working player who started 4 years but no versatility, will need some developmental time . UDFA for me on a team with Center only need.
208.Pittsburgh Conner Heyward FB Mich St A
I did not rank FB's but he would have been my #1. Excellent fit, always a need, he would have been there in 7 so a minor reach deduction but still a solid pick
209.Buffalo Luke Tenuta OT Va Tech C
Another of my SLEEPER player though I did not have him draftable, massive frame and some versatility, will need practice squad time and this is to early with other options available.
210.New England Chasen Hines G LSU F
Massive and strong former DT with limited OL reps, there is upside but just not draftable upside in my opinion, he should make practice squad on athleticism and perhaps he defies the odds.
211.LA Rams Quentin Lake S UCLA F
Major reach for a local player, maxed out 5 year college player who is a marginal athlete, he will need to light up special teams just to make the final cut, he likely will not.
212.LA Rams Darion Kendrick CB Ga A+
I saw numerous 1st round grades on him, I had him Mid 3rd with an OVERRATED ALERT on him so the value gamble here is definetly worth it for this once lofty recruit. If you can get into his head you might get a late round gem, if not he will be gone. The grade is on value and potential.
213.Atlanta John Fitzpatrick TE Ga F
Ridiculous pick here, 3 years as a often 3rd teamer with 17 career catches, barely worthy of a camp invite but NFL GM's are smart, right?? SMH!!! If you want to UDFA him then fine but wasting a pick?
214.LA Chargers Ja'Sir Taylor CB W Frst F
Just to early for this undersized CB who will need to live in the slot, better options were still available. Need was not great and fit is questionable, this pick makes no sense.
215.Arizona Lecitus Smith G Va Tech A+
My #5 Guard with a Mid 3rd grade and an absolute steal here, he will need to show some versatility 1st but he will be starting next season.
216.Indianapolis Curtis Brooks DT Cinn F
Undersized marginal athlete who took advantage of double teams on others to get loose for 7.5 sacks last season, untill then he was a rotational piece, major reach here with better option available.
217.Detroit James Houston LB Jack St F
He failed at Florida and was average at FCS SWAC! I do not care what Deon says at all and he says ALOT! The talent level these players compete against is just above high level HS teams and it's not going to get much better.
218.Tampa Bay Ko Kieft TE Minn F
Career backup with 12 career catches, why? Great frame and solid blocker but nothing else, another wasted pick, sometimes I wonder how some people got their jobs!
219.Tennessee Chance Campbell LB Miss A+
Like the value here, they have a depth need at ILB, his best fit is in a 4-3 but the transition to a 3-4 ILB is not to much for this High footbal IQ player who should be of value on special teams day one, solid pick!
220.San Francisco Kalia Davis DT UCF A+
Very quick "fireplug" player with high upside, former HS LB with great quickness, look for him to become a rotational piece this season. Great value here, solid fit and need.
221.San Francisco Tariq Castro-Fields CB Penn St B
Excellent value here but need and fit are just not evident. Solid player who will need to play in the slot for success and should have time to develop, should be of great special teams value while he grows.

222.Jacksonville Montaric Brown CB Ark C+
Always solid in run support and stepped up with his best season in the pass game last year, should help on special teams, I had him a UDFA but not a terrible pick here.
223.Cleveland Isaiah Thomas DE Okl D+
I had him in my UDFA class, has some developmental potential just many better options on board.
224.Miami Cameron Goode LB Cal A
Nice size and athleticism, solid fit and they have defensive needs everywhere, just a bit early and some better options still on board.
225.Pittsburgh Mark Robinson LB Miss F
Undersized former small college RB with one season at LB in Dl. Crazy reach for this incredibly raw player, why draft him. Ther would have been no rush in the UDFA field, wasted pick regardless of outcome.
226.Chicago Ja'Tyre Carter G Sou F
Small college player with marginal upside, maybe a year or two on practice squad but I doubt much more. That's pricey for a practice player.
227.Green Bay Nick Muse TE S Car F
Was a victim of very poor QB play in college, but that might not have been all the problem, not draftable for me but he could slip on the end of the bench. Better optoins on board for a reach here.
228.Minnesota Tariq Carpenter LB Ga Tech F
4 year safety will need to learn LB spot, has some upside but patience will be needed, just not a draftable player with many others available.
229.Seattle Bo Melton WR Rutg A
Solid value here, he must start performing like his measurables say he should, could be a steal.
230.Washington Chris Paul G Tuls F
Likely little more than a camp body and perhaps a practice squad spot on this awful team, wasted pick when others who could have helped them were on board. there is a reason why some teams are bad year after year.
231.Buffalo Baylon Spector LB Clem A+
Nice developmental high effort player with core special teamer written all over him, nice pick for a loaded team.
232.Denver Faion Hicks CB Wisc F
Undersized and not thebest athlete either, he is well coached and should help on special teams but little more, camp player in my opinion and little more.
233.Seattle Dareke Young WR Len Rhy F
OK, why waste a pick on an average Dll player! Nothing else to say.
234.Green Bay Jonathan Ford DT Mia(F) D+
Not a 5 Tech guy and they are full at NT so I do not understand this pick, He does have some developmental potential but where does he fit?.
235.LA Rams Daniel Hardy LB Mont St B+
Nice small colege player with upside and special teams potential. He could well develop into a rotational player by next season, solid pick. UDFA for me but not terrible here for a solid team.
236.LA Chargers Deane Leonard CB Miss F
Not even on my numerous list and not worthy of being drafted, I'm just not sure what they are seeing that I'm missing, my guess is he will not make the team. Wasted pick!
237.Detroit Chase Lucas CB Ariz St F
Undersized 5 year player who has gone backwards every season since a promising start, he is acamp player and not much more.
238.Las Vegas Thayer Munford OL Ohio St A+
I had an early 3rd on him and stand on that. Versatile, strong, expirienced player will be a solid swing OL from day one and starting sooner than you think.
239.Indianapolis Rodney Thomas S Yale F
Obviously intelligent but can he transition from Ivy leaugue LB to NFL Safety, not likely. Can help on special teams but likely little more. Much better options still on board and more ready to contribute now.
240.Washington Christian Holmes CB Okl St A+
Great value here, I had him at Mid 5th. Possible move to safety may be in order for this solid run defender with marginal ball and pass defense skills, for sure can be a special teams star.
241.Pittsburgh Chris Oladokun QB SDSt F
Began at USF, transferred down to FCS and transferred again within FCS, decent numbers, 3 schools = problems, practice squad at best, I do not see even that. Better options available.
242.Carolina Kalon Barnes CB Bay A+
Well I thought some team would jump on him earlier for his test numbers. Very raw but very fast player who is worth the gamble here. he will need a season on practice squad but has some upside.
243.Kansas City Jaylen Watson CB Wash St C-
I see him as a UDFA Safety not a big CB so we will see where he ends up. Not the athlete for CB but should help day one on special teams and with time on this solid team he could have value.
244.Arizona Christian Matthew CB Vald St F
Players who attend 3 colleges rarely make it in the NFL, he will not break that trend. UDFA at best and he might have the atheticism to get a year on the practice squad.
245.New England Andrew Stuebner G Mich A
I'm ok with him here, massive and strong but marginal athlete, never will be more than a backup but at this point that is a solid pick.
246.Cleveland Dawson Deaton C Tx Tech A+
Great pick at this point, solid all around player with excellent upside, I had a Mid 4th on him. look for him to develop and be a solid inside swing player this season. Nice pick.
247.Miami Skylar Thompson QB Kan St C
Tough, smart 5 year player, could stick on this team as a #3, likely practice squad for a year or two then gone.
248.Tampa Bay Andre Anthony DE LSU F
Camp body or at best a practice squad player, if they think otherwise they need some new scouts.
249.Green Bay Rasheed Walker OT Penn St A+
Former lofty recruit who nevver lived up to hype, I still had an eary 3rd on himn that I may regret. He showed flashes, had great games but never the consistency that was expected. If someone can get into his head he can become a starter
250.Las Vegas Brittain Brown RB UCLA F
5 years of school and never a full time starter, he will be lucky to make the practice squad, better options available. Are we sure Mayock in gone?
251.Kansas City Isaih Pacheco RB Rutg F
Maybe a RB3 but not likely, much better options on board.I do not understand this pick
252.Cincinnati Jeffery Gunter DE C Car D
Just must wonder where they are going to play him, not strong enough for 4-3 DE and they do not play a 3-4 for him to play OLB in. He does have some ability but fit is very questionable.
253.LA Rams Russ Yeast S Ky A+
Played CB and Safety but size dictates his move to Slot CB. Smart, Tough, effort player who will embrace special teams and likely force his way onto rosters for several seasons. Solid round 7 pick
254.Chicago Elijah Hicks S Cal A
If he were more athletic he would have been a day 2 pick, but he is not that. He is very smart, high footbal IQ, tough, effort player who will alway do his job correctly. look for him to be a core special teamer and be in the league for years.
255.Chicago Trenton Gill P NCSt D+
Has some upside but several better options still on board instead of my #7 Punter, major waste here.
256.Arizona Jesse Luketa LB Penn St A+
Well I'm alot higher on him than others but I believe he was missused in college. Look for him to star on special teams untill he forces his way onto the field. this is one of the rounds tops picks.
257.Arizona Marquis Hayes G Okl A+
Massive, powerful run blocker who will need some tech work in pass game due to poor coaching in college. I had a Mid 3rd on him due to he excellent developmental upside, very nice pick this late.
258.Green Bay Samouri Toure WR Neb A+
Solid pick who will need a year of patience but alot to work with, he will be on the field soon than most think. Look for him to elevate to WR4 by end of the season.
259.Kansas City Nazeeh Johnson S Marsh F
Rangy 5 year player with nice athleticism but high mileage and not much else. Inconsistent in all phases, shows flashes but I chose not to rate him. Minimal prospect but they saw something they liked, we'll see who's correct.
260.LA Chargers Zander Horvath FB Pur A+
Solid pick for a team that actually uses a FB, he will be a good one, soft hands, over career 65 catches, tough runner, over 1100 career yards.
261.LA Rams AJ Acuri OT Mich St B+
Huge framed, well coached player with some swing potential and upside, I had him UDFA but this is a solid pick here.
262.San Francisco Brock Purdy QB Iowa St A+
Look for this guy to mirror Colt McCoy and stay around the league for 10+ years as a backup.
QUARTERBACK RANKINGS
Rank Name School Ht Wt Rtg Rnd Value
1.Matt Corral Ole Miss 6-1 215 90 Mid 1st
Corral was an easy pick for #1, not because of his glowing skill set but rather due to the weaknesses of others. Tough, gritty gamer with the attitude you want, above average arm, not great, solid athlete, not great, 57-23 TD/Int ratio could be better, on the smaller side for the position but very tough mentally from dealing with Kiffin and physically from the SEC. Very good mid range game, needs some consistency in short game, long ball above average. Quick release, decent pocket instintcs but must cut back on his running some and he is a solid Team leader. Think of an improved Baker Mayfield and you have Corral. Likely to peak as a Top half of the league QB I see him as a Mid 1st pick at best.
2.Desmond Ridder Cinn 6-4 215 89 Early 2nd
Solid in most phases, above average arm, can really push the ball downfield well on deep outs and crossing patterns, short game/mid range game also very solid, very good athlete, solid leader, good height but could use a few lbs. Glaring problem that was never addresed in College is his release, it is slow always and can get very slow at times and that is a major issue that will need corrected. He will also need work on his reads, sometime he labors or takes off when 1st option is not there and falls back on his atheticism. His 87-28 TD/Int rate is excellent and shows he does not force the ball. He will need some patience but the talent is there for another Top half player.
3.Malik Willis Lib 6-1 215 87 Mid 2nd
Best athlete in the class, seems like a very solid kid also who will not embarrass your team and be a great teammate. Physical skills are obvious, great arm talent but 48-18 TD/Int ratio could be better and his mobility with over 2000 career rushing yards and 29 TD's is very impresive. Gets the ball downfield with ease but accuracy is sporadic, short/mid range games need more consistency like the rest of his game.. Has all the tools to be the best QB in this draft, the situation he is thrust into will dictate his future, draft him to start immeadiatly and save your franchise, well that will equal failure, draft him to be groomed as a successor to your aging QB his likelihood for success improves exponentially!! Knowing the NFL sadly the former is the more likely result.
4.Carson Strong Nev 6-4 215 85 Early 3rd
Very good arm, can make all the throws, quick release, has no problem pushing the ball outside and downfield. Had an excellent 74-19 TD/Int ratio so he protects the ball and make few bad throws. While he was able to move around some and avoid sacks in College not so sure he will have such luck at the NFL level, speed rushers will affect his game and how he deals with that will be critical to his success, he is NO threat to run and would not get far if he did. Strong has some interesting skills and with some mobility work could become a solid starter.
5.Kenny Pickett Pitt 6-3 220 84 Early 3rd
OVERRATED ALERT! BUST ALERT! Pickett WILL get drafted TO HIGH and in my opinion that will not work out well for him. One good season after 4 years of very average does not fill me with optimism that others have. His first 4 years he had a 39-25 TD/Int ratio that would have possibly warranted him a 7th round grade and I'm not ready to buy in on him after 42-7 this past season. Another guy who is capable of moving around some to avoid sacks he also is NO threat as a runner. I see his top end as a mid of the pack starter and that will take some work and patience. Again he will get drafted likely in ROUND 1 and in true NFL tradition he will get fed to the wolves and that will not go well.
6.Bailey Zappe WKy 6-1 225 83 Mid 3rd
UNDERRATED ALERT! Former small school guy who moved up and got even better 135-40 overall TD/Int ratio plus a sparkling 62-11 in almost 700 attempts and just under 6000 yards yards this past season since his move up. His arm strength is average but he has a great understanding of throwing receivers open, his short and mid range throwing is his strength but he can get the ball downfield though his long ball will float some and NFL DB's will like that. At just over 6ft he is a bit undersized but his lightning quick release and football IQ will overcome that. His best sitsuation would be prepping for a few years in a backup capasity and then moving into the starter roll. I can see him be quite successful if he is treated properly in the right fit.
7.Dustin Crum Kent St 6-3 200 82.5 Late 3rd
UNDERRATED ALERT! As a High Schooler he was underrrated, in College a high 4 Star tranfer was recruited in to start, Crum didn't flinch, kept his head down, worked his ass off and he beat him out, I will not underestimate him again. His arm strength is below average but he is another who will make up for that with Football IQ. He finished with an excellent 55-12 TD/Int ratio so he does not throw the ball to the other team, he rushed for over 2000 yards some so he has mobility and is a surprising runner. VERY SMART and resilent so do not undedrestimate him. He could develope into starter with time but likely will be in the league 10+ years as a backup, think of an improved Colt McCoy that just might surprise everyone else a steal a starters job. A late 3rd round pick that evolved to that is a solid selection.
8.Sam Howell NCar 6-1 225 82 Early 4th
OVERRRATED ALERT! Everyone else has him rated higher, at one time I thought I would also but the fact that he has being going backwards every season concerns me more than others. With over 10k yards an outstanding 92-23 TD/Int ratio why don't I like him as much as others? I think his decision making is slow and labored, his Football IQ is lacking inspite of the numbers. Processing what he sees steps up 10 fold at the NFL level and he was struggling with that the past couple years. He has adaquate arm strength not great, decent release, not great, decent athlete , not great and add his other issues and I see him different than others. He will likely get picked much higher than I project him and will be deamed a bust.
9.Brock Purdy Iowa St 6-1 210 75 Late 5th
I have been waiting for him to take the next step for 3 years, thinking now he just doesn't have another step in him, that said he still could carve out a nice career as a backup. Average arm, solid athlete, quick release, very tough and with a 81-33 TD/Int ratio he does not give the ball up to much. I I see him as another quality backup /part time starter type in the Colt McCoy mold which is not all that bad with what backup QB's get paid.
10.Brandon Peters Illinois 6-4 227 71 Early 7th
Former lofty recruit #3 rated who has tools but never could put it together except for flashes, great size, live arm, average athlete but consistency has eluded him up till now. Will he ever find it? A late round pick to look or as a UDFA would be worth a look.
11.Chase Garber Cal 6-2 225 68.5 Late 7th
Multi year starter with a 50-24 TD/Int ratio 6500+ passing yards over 1100 caeer rush yards. Below average arm not real athletic, very smart and well coached, could become a quality backup and hang around the league for some time.
12.Kaleb Eleby WMich 6-1 215 68 Late 7th
Why some of these guys declare still befuddles me. This guy has some skills evident buy his 45-11 TD/Int ratio and over 6000 yards passing the past 3 seasons. Very good arm and throws a nice deep ball, not athletic at all, he had 2 years of eligibility left and should have used at least one of them to work on his weak points, likely a practice squad player on raw throwing ability for practice but will not stick around long without some serious work.

1.Breece Hall Iowa St 5-11 220 90 Late 1st
Ideal size, outstanding patience, excellent vision, excellent power, very good pass receiver with 82 career recepions. With the ball in his hands he knows what to do, he is slightly limited by a lack of elite top end speed but he is usually fast enough. Will need to work a bit on his blocking as he was rarely called upon to do it much that is about his only real downside. Plug a play guy who will have a nice career.
2.Brian Robinson Ala 6-2 228 88 Mid 2nd
When he finally got to start after 4 years behind NFL draft picks he showed he was ready. great size and power with a surprising burst for his size and has a surprising 2nd gear, shows good vision, balance for a big guy and very soft hands. Honestly as I watched him this year I felt he should have had more carries the past few seasons. That said those limited carries have kept his miles down so thats another plus. Overall he should step right in and contribute .
3.Jerome Ford Cinn 5-11 215 85 Early 3rd
UNDERRATED ALERT! Another who had to wait for other draft choices to move on but exploded when they did. I think the light finally came on for this once lofty Alabama recruit. Great size, speed, quickness, toughness, vision and power. On the downside he will hesitate in traffic and will need work in the passing game, both receiving where he did improve this season and blocking where he is very raw and needs to show more interest. If he remembers who he is and keeps north and south he will become a solid every down back
4.Isaiah Spiller TxA&M 6-0 225 84 Early 3rd
OVERRATED ALERT! If he had a 2nd gear he would be my #1. He was able to get loose a few times in College but at the next level that will not happen. He does have great vision, power and is decisive when he gets the ball just his lack of burst or any discernable 2nd gear will limit his long term effectiveness. In the passing game he has shown consistent soft hands, very limited as a blocker due to scheme. He should be a solid rotational back who will occasionally have a big game.
5.Kenneth Walker Mich St 5-9 210 82 Late 3rd
OVERRATED ALERT! BUST ALERT! Blew up this season but before that there was little chance of him being drafted at all with under 600 yards both seasons. This season he exploded in a couple game and disappeared in a couple more, while he did break a couple long runs this season his functional quickness and speed are average at best and now to his biggest weakness,he has caught a totol of 19 ball in 3 seasons including 2 in a pass happy Wake Forest offense, his pass blocking is below average at best and those are a major problem at the NFL level. Likely atwo down back to me, someone will draft him higher than this and regret it.
6.Abram Smith Bay 5-11 221 80 Early 4th
INJURY ALERT! Yet another 1 year wonder, this one should have went back for another year after finding some success after moving between RB and LB his first two years. Very tough and physical back who is more quick than fast without much wiggle, he will cut and it's straight ahead until he hits something. Expect little if anything as a pass receiver but he is a willing and solid blocker. Another who is likely a rotational back or career backup. He does have an injury history with knee injuries in HS and his Freshman year at Baylor so thats another concern. He excelled on special teams and a team could get some production there while he develops.
7.Kevin Harris SCar 5-10 225 79 Mid 4th
UNDERRATED ALERT!! A player hurt by his poor team performance. Harris is another one cut and run over people type, he rarely gets downed by the 1st man, also more quick than fast with no decernable 2nd gear. He showed better as a receiver last season so there is hope there, I see his best oppertunity as a rotational power back and backup where he could carve out a career.
8.D'Vonte Price FIU 6-2 215 78 Late 4th
Another player limited only by his teams scheme and weaknesses, never had a season where he was the lead back, always in a committee type of scheme. Well coached in pass blocking but offers mininmal as a receiver. Great size and strength for the position, quick enough but not fast. He will need to be in another RB by committee sitsuation to get the most out of his abilities.
9.Zamir White Ga 6-0 215 76 Early 5th
BUST ALERT! OVERRATED ALERT! Never quite lived up to the hype in my opinion and needed another year of hard work to get to level that other have him rated at already. The past two seasons he had the opportunity to seize the job but could not. Quick enough but speed is marginal at best, offers little as a pass receiver or pass blocker, a rotational back at best and that will take some work.
10.Pierre Strong SDak St 5-11 207 75 Mid 5th
SLEEPER ALERT!! FCS star who could surprise, nice combo of size, speed, balance. I almost rated him higher and I may regret not doing so. Shows great natural feel and running ability, has shown promise as a receiver and even was 9 for 9 with 6 TD's as a RB option passer. Also though his reps were very limited he did some KR and was effective. GREAT late round pick that could make some teams draft as long as you use him right and have some patience.
11.Camron Harris Mia(F) 5-9 210 74 Early 6th
UNDERRATED ALERT!! A quiet, focused, solid player, something rare for Miami in recent times. Everytime I watched Miami Harris stood out, he was one of the few players there not absorbed into that TOXIC CULTURE there. Never was a lead back as they ran a committee system, showed promise as a receiver and blocker, great late round gamble, he may not get drafted at all and he will be a surprising FA.
12.Rachaad White ArizSt 6-2 210 73 Mid 6th
OVERRATED ALERT! Has all the tools but just never put it together on the field, certainly looks the part but his game doesn't match his physique. with 43 receptions last season he has shown promise there. Likely will start out as a 3rd down back, if he goes any farther is up to him.
13.Kennedy Brooks Okl 5-10 214 70 Mid 7th
Numerous times he flashed, just never put it all together wek after week. Sounds odd for a player with THREE 1000 yard seasons but a look at his numbers shows his hit and miss games, and no contibution in pass game. Rotatioal back at best.
14.Snoop Conner Ole Miss 5-10 215 69 Late 7th
Never a full time starter but a solid contributor for 3 years, REALLY should have returned for a year as the lead back. Powerful and shows decent hands when used. Worth a late pick, he could evolve into a solid backup.
15.Hassan Haskins Mich 6-0 220 68 Late 7th
OVERRATED ALERT! One big season, limited athletically. Nor quick or fast, does show some straight ahead and 1 cut ability. Offers little or anything in the passing game, I'm just not seeing what others do.

1.James Cook Ga 5-11 190 85 Early 3rd
Shifty runner with good vision, soft hands and troublesome in the open field, more quick than fast, show plus vision and feet, needs some work as a route runner for the NFL game but has the tools to excell. Has decent power for his size and with career averages of 6.5 per carry and 10.9 per reception he has shown big play ability although his limited top end may temper that in the NFL.
2.Max Borghi WashSt 5-10 200 82 Late 3rd
Well versed in passing game from his early days under Mike Leach, has two 800+ yard rushing seasons and an 86 catch season over 3200 total yards and 41TD's. Tough as nails for his size shows quick feet, good vision, soft hands, solid route runner and surprising burst but top end is limited, a player that will stick around barring injury for a decade or so, VERY solid pick at this stage.
3.Jerrion Ealy Ole Miss 5-9 190 78 Mid 4th
Tougher than his size dictates, plays bigger. Problem is for his size not overly quick or fast, good in traffic, shifty, good vision and will surprise with his power between the tackles, strong, fearless. Showed solid hands in limited oppertunities, is willing tpo block, needs some help there. Could easily develop into a weapon in the right scheme.
4.Trestan Ebner Bay 5-11 215 76 Early 5th
SLEEPER ALERT!! Ran for almost 800 yards as the RB2 last season in his 1st year of significant carries, tallied 127 receptions averaging 11.9 over 5 years in limited duty and 3 TD's on KO returns the past two seasons so there is versitility and to top it off he has size to go with those numbers. GREAT late round pick.
5.Ty Chandler NCar 5-11 205 75 Mid 5th
Took over as lead back this season at NC after 4 years at Tenn. Has nice quickness, good vision and has some pop, 4 years of solid but unspectacular production with 3138 rush yards and 73 receptions he is certainly better than some options already in the league, how long he stays is up to him.
6.C J Verdell Ore 5-9 210 74 Early 6th
SLEEPER ALERT! Had back to back 1000 yard season then COVID '20 and injury '21 dropped his numbers significantly and he will fall due to that. Still his 1st two years he looked like he was heading to being a much higher pick. The talent is there and if healthy he could end up a steal.
7.Mateo Durrant Duke 6-1 195 72 Early 7th
Long player with average quickness and speed, ran for over 2000 yards the past two seasons and caught 27 balls this past season when he was used more. Not an elite athlete but is gritty, tough and determined to make up for his lack of elite physical traits. Worth a long look.
8.Xazavian Valladay Wyo 6-0 198 70 Mid 7th
Over 3200 yards rushing, stronger than his size implies, not afraid to run inside and has enough speed to bounce outside. Had 51 receptions in an offense where RB's get limited passes thrown their way, not afraid to block and has played in all kinds of weather.
9.Sincere McCormnick UTSA 5-9 205 69 Late 7th
Should have gone back to school, Had close to 4000 yards, 66 receptions the past 3 years, even in a lesser conference those numbers are impressive. Very quick and shifty, top end limited, will need some work on blocking to say the least.
10.Tyler Badie Mo 5-8 195 67 PFA
OVERRATED ALERT! Others like him far better than I do, has some quickness but has one gear, top end speed in marginal. Had 4 huge games against teams with weak run defenses, was shut down by better defenses. Had 54 receptions but only 6.1 avg. Will be a serious liability in pass protection. Very limited upside to my eyes, he will likely come off the board around the 3rd round, buyer beware.
11.Kyron Williams NDame 5-9 195 66 UDFA
OVERRATED ALERT! BUST ALERT! I've seen him rated 2nd/3rd round elsewhere, I'm not buying that. Back to back 1000 yard seasons and 77 receptions. Great stats sure but while quick enough his long speed is very limited, broke tackles in College that he will not in NFL may be better as a Slot WR.

1.Treylon Burks Ark 6-3 230 95 Top 10
Elite size and athleticism to match gets him a slight nod for #1. Held back by poor QB play his 1st two seasons but this past season he was able to show the vast potential with better QB play. Great quickness and long speed to go with his size, adjusts well to the ball with long arms and catches with his hands, creates separation with his body in one on one matchups and can rise to get high throws, uses his physical stature to gain yards after the catch. This player is just scracting the surface of his ability, he will be a better pro than College player
2.Garrett Wilson OSU 6-0 203 94.5 Top 10
Best hands I've seen in manys years, elite route runner, quicker and faster than he looks due to his polished and smooth nature. Can play welll inside and outside, elevates very well and will win one on one matchups with his freakish body control. Great vision running the ball after the catch, works well on the sideline as well as crossing patterns. Very complete player right now, plug and play guy for 10+ seasons.
3.Jamison Williams Ala 6-2 188 92 Mid 1st
INJURY ALERT! The best deep threat to hit the draft in years, elite quickness and the best top end in this draft. A bit raw as a route runner but shows the athleticism needed to accomplish much more with some work. Has no issue with running crossing patterns and seam routes and once the ball is in his hands his moves are quick and and smooth, needs some work on sideline routes and catches near the line. Tracks the deep ball better than anyone in this draft. Had a major knee injury in his last game so next season is a question mark
4.Drake London USC 6-4 210 91 Late 1st
Prototypical size, shows excellent hands at time but can be somewhat inconsistent at times, route running needs tighening up also, but is an elite athlete who also played Basketball at USC. Will win most one on ones but will drop an easy throw. Show acceptable quickness but is not a burner and his long speed will not be what makes him money. With some work he will top out as an outstanding possession receiver who will be deadly on 3rd down and around the endzone, every team needs on of those and he can have a long career.
5.George Pickens Ga 6-3 205 89 Early 2nd
Never lived up to his early hype after his big Freshman season, he has gone backwards every year. This is partially due to the QB situation at Georgia, partially due to an ACL tear last spring. Great frame, very good quickness and when he gets loose he has excellent long speed. Catches ball with hands, is great in traffic both catching and YAC. separates well and tracks deep balls with ease, will need some work on sideline routes. Has all the tools to be a true #1 WR, if healthy he should have an excellent career.
6.David Bell Pur 6-2 210 87 Early 3rd
2nd best hands in this draft, runs precise clean routes and even with his limited athleticism finds a way to separate and will make all the catches, has superior body control, understands leverage and timing. His margin for error will be slim in the NFL but I don't see that being a significant issue. His quickness and speed are below average but the rest of his tools make up for that, may never be WR1 but he will excell as a WR2 or even inside.
7.Alec Pierce Cinn 6-3 213 86 Early 3rd
2nd best deep threat in this class, very strong and sneaky fast, will get behind CB's and outrun them. Gets off the line with ease, separates well and high points and uses his body to separate effectively, catches with hands but does lack concentration at times runs solid routes but ran a limited tree so he will have work to do there. Not a big YAC guy.
8.Romeo Doubs Nev 6-2 200 84 Late 3rd
Great frame, good quickness and solid long speed, runs tight routes and has improved all 4 years, needs to work on his hands and catch radius, will not be a #1 but with work could evolve to a #2. Would be capable of moving inside if needed, likely a strong WR3 on most teams.
9.Jalen Tolbert SAla 6-3 195 77.5 Early 5th
Great size, below average quickness but decent long speed, dominated his small Conference but players he separated from in The Sun Belt will be doing something else for the rest of their lives. Still with his frame and ball skills he does have a shot of sticking as a WR4 , top end for him would be a WR3 on a weaker team.
10.TyQuan Thornton Bay 6-3 182 77 Early 5th
Great measurables and will test very well similar to numerous recent Baylor WR's, where are they now? In true Baylor fashion he had 3 huge games, several average and several where he was a complete non factor. Without consistency he will be relagated to a WR3/4 at best.
11.Velus Jones Tenn 6-0 200 75 Late 5th
6th year player, Real burner who was hindered by poor and inconsistent QB play at both of his colleges, he originally was at USC where he played little. Only one season of solid play at WR, GREAT potential YAC player, shifty, quick and fast, really accelerates through traffic. He gets a higher rating than his WR numbers due tohe shows major potential as a KR, added PR to his resume this past season and was solid there also.
12.Tre Turner VaTe 6-2 190 74.5 Early 6th
SLEEPER ALERT !! Great frame, very good quickness and excellent long speed, was held back by very unstable QB situation. seriously the QB situation at VT was a mess his entire career. This kid has major ability to get loose downfield. If drafted by a solid team do not be surprised if he evoles to WR2.
13.Justin Ross Clem 6-4 210 74 Early 6th
INJURY ALERT!! Two years ago he looked to be one of the top WR's in this class, serious injury concerns have threatened his career and will be there. Great frame, enough quickness and speed, run solid routes and separates well and cathes with hands. Question about his health will determine his future. Solid late round pick, that will be key.
14.Samori Toure Nebr 6-2 190 73 Mid 6th
UNDERRATED ALERT!! Former small school star who performed well in his one year in FBS, has tool and with patience could evolve into a 3/4 WR. Good size, deceptive quickness and speed, could move inside where his shift route running could flourish.
15.Emeka Emezie NCSt 6-2 220 72 Early 7th
Great size and has tools, very physical, needs consistency. 5 year player that I kept waiting for him to take the next step, it did not happen. Top end for him would be WR4
16.Thomas Hennigan AppSt 6-1 210 71 Mid 7th
SLEEPER ALERT! Very high football IQ, knows who and what he is,Finds a way to get open, better athlete than many think, great hands. will do whatever it takes. Great late round pick.
17.Christian Watson NDSt 6-3 200 70.5 Late 7th
BUST ALERT! This years small school wonder who will test off the charts, sadly his film does not support the confidence that many and some NFL excec will have in him. VERY limited route tree against far weaker compitition than he will face in NFL. Yet again the NFL talent scouts will be wrong and absolve themselves of any culpability or poor scouting. With some time and patience he could be a solid WR3, doubt he gets that chance.
18.Justin Shorter Fla 6-4 225 70 Late 7th
Once a very elite recruit #1 by some services who just never found his fit, tremenous frame, has some tools. Work ethic must be questioned. Will get a shot somewhere and likely hang around for a year or two, decent gamble.
19.Devon Williams Ore 6-4 205 69 Late 7th
Another former elite recruit another #1 by some services who just never lived up to his HS hype. Did litle at USC then had another weak season followed by a soso season at Oregon. This is where you take these guys to see if they have an "on" switch.
20.Dontario Drummond Miss 6-0 220 68 PFA
Showed flashes of previous Ole Miss WR 's Brown and Moore but is not in the same class. Not the athlete that previous players were but has some possession value.
SLOT WIDE RECEIVER RANKINGS
Rank Name Sch Ht Wt Rtg Rnd Value
1.Chris Olave OSU 6-1 188 94 Top 15
Another well coached player with outstanding hands, tremendous body adjustments to the ball. Very quick, possesses sneaky downfield speed, very shifty without losing speed, works the middle of field with ease, opponeents never seem to get a solid shot on him and that is why I believe his best fit is in the slot, some like him outside and he can have success there but I'm all about the BEST FIT! High possibility he is the WR who slipps in this draft and that will benifit him and the drafting team greatly.
2.Wandale Robinson Ky 5-10 185 87.5 Late 2nd
UNDERRATED ALERT!! After wasting two seasons in an offense where he was misused he really started to find himself last season. 104 catches with less than elite QB play says something about his ability, plays bigger than his size, fearless in the middle of the field has shown ability on jet sweeps and while limited on expierience he shows the tools to be fine KR prospect. Quck decisive darting moves, VERY quick and while not a long speed burner he has enough to win some battles. Natural fit for the slot and with the right scheme he could have a very nice career.
3.Jahan Dotson PennSt 5-10 185 86 Early 3rd
Qicker than fast but fast enough, excellent vision, shifty, decisive with his moves, excells after the catch with premier start/stop ability and while not an elite burner he has enough long speed to have six TD's of over 60 yards. Over 180 catches and 2500+ yards with less than sterling QB play. Excellent hands and adjusts well to the ball, strickly a Slot guy, he wills struggle outside will not win many ono on ones due to his slight frame and modest strength but will get open enough to make a difference. Will need a scheme that focuses on his ability to be open for tick and a QB that understands timing and throwing players open. Has shown some PR ability and that's a plus.
4.Jerreth Stearns WKy 5-8 180 84 Late 3rd
UNDERRRATED ALERT!! Most others have him MUCH lower and are labeling him a "system" player due to his incredible stats and they are correct to an extent but also they are completely ignoring his obvious skillset. 1st of all his numbers 371-3907-35 are impressive regardless of level. His Football IQ is very high, he understands who he is and where he excells. Excells at finding holes, slots, seams relying on intelligence rather than physical traits. Thats good , he has enough quickness to get by but long speed is below average at best, with his slight frame while gritty he will struggle in one on one battles. While has done some PR it's not his thing. I think of guy named Largent a bit when I watch him play, maybe to much but maybe not.
5.Kyle Phillips UCLA 5-11 180 83 Late 3rd
UNDERRATED ALERT!! Another player I have much higher than others. He has benn the go to possession guy for three seasons. Quick, shifty, runs sound routes, very smart, very good hands. He will not run away from many but his quickness and short-area ability will get him open. Decent size for the position, can block a little and show serious promise as a PR, 19.8 avg with 2 TD's in part time duty with 25 returns over 4 seasons. Really would have benefited by using his bonus year to work on his weak points but that's the way it goes these days.
6.John Metchie Ala 6-0 195 82.5 Early 4th Shows the tools to be a great possession type receiver, works very well close to the line, sure hands, solid in YAC, tough, gamer will fight and uses superior Football IQ to win his battles, some have him outside where I blieve his physical limitations will hinder him greatly. Just not overly quick or fast, if he were his rating would be higher, facts are he will have to make it on his intangable traits,. He has played in big games and done well and has been exposed to tough coaching. Over 150 catches and 2000 yards the past two seasons but was never the star, just a tough, solid player who gives max effort.
7.Reggie Roberson SMU 6-0 200 82 Early 4th
INJURY ALERT!! For the last few seasons I kept waiting for him to take the next step up, he did not. Injuries played a major part in his lack of evolution. He must be used inside , while not tall he is thick and strong for a WR. Uses his hands and body well to get open, runs tight routes, show aduquate quickness and solid long speed if he gets loose. Knows how to get open and has excellent hands that got him a 15.7 avg and 24 TD's for career. I see a nice career with as an above average possession receiver, likely plays with several teams.
8.Khalil Shakir Boise St 6-0 191 81 Mid 4th
Very good quickness, decent long speed, shifty without losing speed, strong for the position also really nice size for the inside, has played inside and out and can continue to do so, just feel he is best primarily inside. Very good hands, solid YAC, runs tight routes, finished with over 200 catches and 2800+ yards so well versed in the pass game. Has shown some KR promise and that would help him stick as would playing other special teams.
9.Danny Gray SMU 6-1 180 80 Mid 4th
SLEEPER ALERT!! This SMU product did take the next step, he would have benifited greatly by taking his bonus year but that rarely happens these days. Some will have him outside and not to say he cannot have success there I see him being much more effective in the slot. Very quick, impressive long speed, hands catcher, run solid routes, while not very physical he still uses body very well with long limbs and with nice ability to adjust to the ball. Rather slight build and not very strong so he will struggle in one on one sitsuations. If drafted into the right team he could rise up to WR3 for sure. That is why I give him a higher grade than others.
10.Britain Covey UT 5-8 175 79.5 Late 4th
UNDERRATED ALERT!! Most just look at his as a KR, and for sure that is where he will make his career but I watched closer, ignored his size and just focused on his play, in the right system he can flourish. Very quick and shifty, has enough long speed but not a burner, runs tight routes, catches with hands and in the open field he is dangerous using his kick return running ability. Again though his return ability and overall Special Teams play will keep him in work but I see him playing more WR than most do upping his value.
11.Slade Bolden Ala 5-11 195 79 Late 4th
SLEEPER ALERT!! Not tall, not overly quick or fast, just produces! He is shifty with great hands and very clever runner, uses his body very well to create space, highy disciplined and very well coached as we have seen before. I'm not sure why he declared this season with 2 years available to him but here he is. He was not used to his maximum abilities at Bama due to others getting reps but he knows how to get open and catch the ball, there is a spot for him in the NFL.
12.Deven Thompkins UTSt 5-7 170 75 Late 5th
SLEEPER ALERT!! This guy will be left off most lists just due to his size. He has been showing flashes for the past few seasons but really exploded last season, 102-1704-10 cannot be dismissed! Lightning quick with excellent long speed, shifty, great start/stop ability, solid hands and runs clean routes although they were not complicated tracks balls downfield excellent and plays biggger than he is. Also while used sparingly he has shown some ability as a KR specialist and will need to excell there.
13.Jalen Nailor MichSt 6-0 192 74.5 Early 6th
REALLY should have used his bonus season, has shown serious tools the past two seasons averaging over 19 YPC but still in need of development and consistency, he had one HUGE game this past season and and a couple good ones but hit and miss. Runs decent routes and is especially good on deep routes using his excellent long speed and natural ability to track deep balls well. I just do not see him having the strength to be effective outside, also he has missed time to injury on more than one occassion but definetly a quality gamble where I have him slotted.
14.Calvin Austin Mem 5-9 165 74 Early 6th
Lightning quick and has long speed to match from his T&F past, obviously his slight frame limits him somewhat and not having the body to bulk up much is a problem but back to back 1000 yard seasons, 16 YPC and 19 TD's cannot be dismissed. Only ran 8 times but had three TD's there also. Was used sparingly as a PR but did have 2 TD's so there is some expirience there also. Small guy who will need the right fit but he can play.
15.Jaquarii Roberson WFst 6-0 182 72 Early 7th
Yet another who should have used that bonus season but did not.Over 2000 yards 16 TD's the past two seasons in a pass happy offense is excellent production, shows solid hands, runs decent routes, not overly quick or fast. He will have to make it on Special Teams or the practice squad for time to develop.
16.Bo Melton Rutg 5-11 195 71 Mid 7th
OVERRATED ALERT!! Five year player that I kept waiting to blow up but it never happened. Has solid hands and very good body for the position, he will test well but those abilities have not shown on the field, average production, average YAC, granted not the best QB play at Rutgers during his time.
17.Sky Moore WMich 5-9 195 70 Late 7th
OVERRATED ALERT!! Really blew up last season but really should have gone back and worked hard on his weaknesses. Has solid hands and very good body for the position but very limited athletically; really should have gone back for another year.
18.Ty Fryfogle Ind 6-2 214 69 Late 7th
Looks to be a decent possession receiver, great size but lacks quickness and long speed, uses his body well to create space. Will not be more than an end of the roster guy, will need to excell on Special Teams
19.Kalil Pimpleton CMich 5-9 175 67 UDFA
SLEEPER ALERT!! Really had no business declaring after one good season, but gets Sleeper nod due to his obvious explosiveness and late round status, with some work he could really create a nice spot for himself, needs the right scheme. Needs a team that can stash him or use him as KR for a few seasons.
20.JeQuez Ezzard SHou 5-9 195 65 UDFA
Small school standout, I must question if his tools are enough to ensure success at the NFL level. We will see, I say no.

1.Jeremy Ruckert OSU 6-5 250 90 Late 1st
UNDERRATED ALERT!! Very underused in the OSU offense, not surprising due to thre likely 1st round [picks in this draft were there with him, but when called upon he answered. Only 54 career catches but 12 went for TD's. Great hands, decent quickness, excellent long speed, very good hands, solid route runner and 4 years of quality work as a blocker, has the size and strength to work the line but also able to get downfield and help and 2nd level. Has the speed to run seam routes past LB's and surprise Safeties, even can split out and knows how to find holes. Only thing he is missing is reps. With some minimal patience he can develop into a star.
2.Austin Allen Neb 6-8 250 86 Late 2nd
UNDERRATED ALERT!! Was wildly underused in the odd offense that is being run at Nebraska. Did get 38 receptions last season, if used properly he would have had 60+. Uses his height to win matchups, has excellent hands and a ridiculous catch radius. A bit raw as a route runner from the offense he was in but ran what they had well and a better athlete than most think. Can be dominant as a blocker using his wide wingspan to redirect DE's, able to track and block downfield also. Another guy with tremendous upside.
3.Jelani Woods Vir 6-7 270 85 Early 3rd
UNDERRATED ALERT!! This past season he finally got to show what he was capable of in an offense where he got to do more than be another OT. The former High School QB had 44 catches and 8 TD's last season in his 1st season as a legitimate receiving option. A surprising athlete and for his size he is special. Has a unique uderstanding of offense from his QB days. Uses that size to be an effective blocker and has a mega wide catch radius. Has improved significantly as a route runner with reps and coaching and this should continue, shows excellent intitial quickness and enough speed to separate downfield, all this while still learning the position. Hard worker, tough and smart, GREAT effort, ideal player to continue to evolve and become a star.
4.Charlie Kolar IowaSt 6-6 257 84 Early 3rd
Well coached, great size and a better athlete than most think. Great hands, powerful and well trained blocker, will hold and edge against most players, able to get to 2nd level blocks with ease. Not a burner by any means but has enogh functional athleticism to be very effective, uses body well and has wide catch radius. May never evolve into a premier TE1 but haas the tools to be in the league for over a decade as a solid starter and effective backup.
5.Jalen Wydermyer TxA&M 6-5 260 83 Late 3rd
OVERRATED ALERT!! CHARACTER ALERT!! All Star potential if he ever gaines consistency, the A&M QB play was average at best and that contributed. Has ALL the tools to be a star but needs to get his head right and work. The light comes on but needs to stay on. I must wonder if it ever will. Tremendous athlete, former WR who kept growing. Runs excellent routes, very good hands, not very quick but does have excellent long speed. Has the phsical tools to be an effective blocker but is not at this time. He really should have returned to school and worked on his weak points but that is irrelevant. It's up to him, he could be an effective starter or out of the league in 3 years.
6.Cade Otten Wash 6-5 251 82 Early 4th
Solid well rounded TE, well coached and experienced effort player not very quick or fast, average athlete. Runs tight routes, very good hands, willing and very good blocker. Uses body well to make catches, excels in the short area, will never give a team anything downfield. Again he is solid in alll areas but his limited athleticism means he will not be more than a TE2 but should fill roster spots for ten years.
7.Iasiah Likely CCar 6-3 245 82 Early 4th
Small Conference star, 133 catches for over 1500 yards and the biggie 27TD's!! Really more of a big WR now and got away with that in the Sun Belt but will need to work alot on blocking to ever be more than a situational player. Great athlete, very quick and has excellent downfield speed that will require more than a LB to cover him. Great hands, runs tight routes, finds open spots, uses body well. Below average blocker and unlikely to get much better, will be best used in slot or outside. Definetly a place for him but I doubt he will ever be a true TE!.
8.Greg Dulcich UCLA 6-4 240 80 Mid 4th
Another in the big WR , very similar to Likely averaged 17.6 YPR on 77 career catches with very average QB his 1st few seasons.. Excellent hands, runs clean tight routes, very dangerous in the middle of the field, great YAC and will run away from LB's. Can do it all in the receiving game but as a blocker he will fall flat, just not asked much to do it and when he did was below average to be kind. Another guy who may never be a true TE1 but will likely be around the league for many years, big guys who can catch and run are valuable.
9.Trey McBride ColSt 6-3 260 79 Mid 4th
OVERRATED ALERT!! Yes 90 catches in '21 but only 1 TD that raises a very important red flag. Average athlete, no 2nd gear, he got away with in in MW but will have little YAC impact at NFL level very good hands, adjust to poor throws and uses body well, run solid routes, effective but not dominant blocker. All around very good player I just do not see him as a top tier TE, looks to top out as TE2
10.Derrick Deese SJSt 6-4 240 79 Mid 4th
Another under the radar guy playing out west, quality athlete who will raise eyebrows with test numbers. Really took his game up a notch or more last season. Top level athlete, great short area quickness and in the conversation for the most long speed in this TE group. Superior hands, adjust well on poor throws, most LB's will struggle to run with him, great catch radius and runs solid clean routes. Major liability in the blocking phase of the game, he will need considerable work to be anything more than a big WR and matchup player, ascending to TE1 status looks unlikely therfore he is rated here.
11.Braden Galloway Clem 6-4 245 78 Mid 4th
SLEEPER ALERT!! All word physical talent who just could not get out of his own way. 1st he had the very questionable failed drug test, then several injuries this past season. Was explosive and needed to be accounted for when healthy. Again he is a great athlete with a solid frame that could get bigger who will need the right fit and some serious work to excell but shows tremendous upside. great hands, very quick in short area, breaks tackles looks to be a solid YAC player, route running a bit raw, blocking is a work in progress. Likely will need to work up from TE3 and it will take commitment from team and player to ascend.
12.James Mitchell VaTch 6-3 250 75 Late 5th
SLEEPER ALERT!! INJURY ALERT!! Very athletic, great hands, averaged almost 17 YPC before injury. Should have gone back for one more year. Shows excellent hands, great quickness and speed, solid YAC and blocks well enough though he needs work there. Another who is more of a big WR than a TE right now, with work that could change.
13.Cole Turner Nev 6-5 240 74 Early 6th
Smooth former WR who runs excellent clean routes, soft hands, uses height very well, high points ball and catches with hands, finds holes well and has enough long speed to need to be accounted for, VERY limited blocker who looks to be maxed out size wise, decent athlete for the position but not elite, will never be more than a situatioal player relying on matchups but can be effective if used properly, he will need to accept and contribute on Special Teams.
14.Jake Ferguson Wisc 6-5 246 73 Mid 6th
145 catches and over 1600 yards and 13 TD's in 4 seasons in a quality TE program, soft hands, runs excellent routes, very well coached and while not physically imposing pound for pound a very strong blocker due to scheme, knows how to get open underneath and will catch the ball, excellent TE2 prospect worth a long look.
15.Daniel Bellinger SDSt 6-6 255 72.5 Late 6th
Solid but unspectactular in most aspects, great size and frame, limited athlete, great hands, runs decent routes, offers little YAC, above average blocker. He will never be a TE1 but could ascend to TE2 in some schemes can be a valuable back up absolutely. Will need to accept and embrace life on Special Teams.
16.Jeremiah Hall Okl 6-2 250 72 Late 6th
More of a H-back type, soft hands and can run a bit. Will need the exact scheme to excell, needs a run heavy system with an old school FB type player, there is a spot for him. Will need to excell on Special Teams
17.Xavier Gaines Marsh 6-3 225 71 Early 7th
Played multiple positions, fine athlete that could find a spot on a team as a TE/WR/ H-Back hybrid. His College coaches did him no favors bouncing him all over. Offers nothing as a blocker but has soft hands, nice vision and excellent athletisism. Could flourish on Special Teams
18.Will Mallory Mia(F) 6-5 240 70 Mid 7th
Was very underused at Miami, great hands better athlete than he got to show. Could develop away from the Toxic Miami culture.
19.Chase Allen IowaSt 6-7 250 69 Late 7th

INJURY ALERT!! Once looked to be a premier TE in this class, injuries (concussions) derailed his once-promising career so much that he once retired fro the sport. 1.Evan Neal Ala 6-7 360 97.5 Top 5
In my preseaon ratings I had him at guard and he still could end up there at some point but he will excell on the OL somewhere for sure. His combo of size and atheticism for his mass has not really been seen yet. Shows dominence as a run blocker, easily gets to 2nd level and often finishes 3 blocks on one run and is still on his feet, may need a bit of help with a few elite outside speed rushers until he he adjusts to the NFL game. Excellent in pass protection technically, shows remarkable balance for size, solid set up, very quick hands and excellemnt footwork, very intelligent and used to tough coaching. Has all the tools to be future Hall of Famer. has expierience at guard and RT so has a unique understanding of the rolls that each play in the overall scheme, that is an underrated trait. Only negative I could come up with was he could uses some improved training and trim down 25 lbs or so, thie would improve his quickness the little bit he could use. Plug and play guy for over a decade.
2.Charles Cross Miss St 6-5 305 96 Top 5
Among the best pure athletes at this position in several years. Came in as a undersized player whoi worked hard to put on 40/50 lbs over his career without losing his mobility. Great combo of size, quickness, balance, and athleticism. Can control the line in the run game, eases to 2nd level, finishes and moves on looking for more victims. Uses his quickness and balance to his advantage in the pass game, has shown excellent improvement technically is pass protection over the past two seasons, just scratching the surface of his potential. While pssessing elite athleticism he is lacking elite strength at this stage but history shows he has the work ethic to improve this. Another plug and play guy, look for his in the Pro Bowl within 3 seasons.
3.Nickolas Petit-Frere OSU 6-5 310 91 Late 1st
Another elite athlete only lacking in the strength and bulk departments. Very similar path as Cross, undersized athlete as recruit. has improve every season at OSU, started at RT 1st then spent last season at LT so he is still learning how good he can be. Abolute technician in the run game, uses quickness, superior footwork, excellent technique, eases to 2nd level, seals the edge consistently. Uses his athleticism in pass priotection, sets up well, has wide wingspan, excellent light feet. He has shown some inconsistency with power rushers and may need some help there short term. Likely a starter from day one, not the level of the top two but wild potential.
4.Myron Cunningham Ark 6-6 325 87 Mid 2nd
SLEEPER ALERT!! Some will like him better inside but I watched numerous games and all the film I could find on him and I feel with NFL coaching this guy shows all the tools to be a starter outside. 3 years starter at LT in SEC after being originally a 3 Star prospect who started his career at JUCO, he proved he belonged , worked hard and was up to task every season, crushing run blocker, shows great strength, excellent atleticism and solid technique. graded highest in big games as a pass protector using wide wing span excellent footwork, quick hands and superior strenght to handle his job. May end up inside as some NFL excecs are frankly, archaic morons but he will excell wherever he plays. Likely to get drafted later than this projection and be a find for that team.
5. Trevor Penning NIowa 6-7 320 86 Late 2nd
OVERRATED ALERT!! This years small school wonder, they rarely pan out as good as they are predicted and even when they do it takes some time.. Penning has a rare combo of size and athleticism but will need pateince and will likely be drafted much higher than this and expected to start day one and produce, that will not happen as he will need a minimum of one season to catch up speed wise to the NFL. has prototypical frame, great strength, good balance, quickness is marginal as is overall athleticism and technique. Gets out of position easily, does not use strength to it's maximum level, poor hand placment, feet are very average. More of a mauler and that was OK at FCS but he will not bully at this level. Still even with faults he has the overall ability to produce in a few seasons it just may well be with a team other than the one who drafts him..
6.Rasheed Walker Penn St 6-5 310 85 Early 3rd
Former lofty recruit who really never lived up to his hype. Granted less than a two time All American would cause that. That said there is still alot to like here, great frame, solid athlete in need of work in a few areas. solid in pass protection but falls short in run game, balance is frequently off, timing on blocks varies from play to play, relies to much on athleticism. Strength not where it should be for frame. Has very quick hands and uses that well, his footwork is the cause of his inconsistency and that is an easy fix for a decent coach and why it never was fixed calls his work ethic or his coaches into question. I kept waiting for him to take the next step, it did not happen. Still to much raw talent to pass on.
ever likely to be a full-time starter.
7.Braxton Jones SUtah 6-7 310 84 Mid 3rd
Another dominant small school guy, his film in very impressive as he dominated his opponents but the hardest part of this is determining if or how fast he can adjust to the overall speed and complexity of the NFL game. Great athlete and frame, long arms, light feet, uses hands well overall technically sound in both run and pass schemes. Dominated at point of attack and easily got to 2nd level , handled inside and outside rushers with ease, the question is quality of competition, it was light years from the NFL level. If drafted by the right team and given proper time he could develop into a gem but in the present day NFL patience in near non existent.
8.Max Mitchell ULL 6-6 300 83 Late 3rd
Small conference guy who was a dominant run blocker but never faced elite pass rushers to the level he now will. Eases to 2nd and at times 3rd level in run game, he played in a run heavy offense. Pass protection will need some work, great athlete who has the tools to succeed. Good hands very light, quick feet, strength not his forte but he has enough to re-route outside rushers, he will need some help at times. Overall a fine athlete who can be a major contributer with some refinement to his game. Will be best in a Zone read run heavy scheme.
9.Bernard Raimann CMich 6-5 305 80 Mid 4th
OVERRATED ALERT!! Most have a much higher grade on this small conference stud. There is much to like here but the process will take a few seasons to mature. Only been playing football for severall years and started his College life as a TE. Great in the run game, uses quickness to easily get to the 2nd level and further downfield, has natural quickness and is likely the fastest OT in the group this season. In pass protection he is marginal at best, has athetic ability but is VERY raw and inconsistent in technique, has all the tools but still does not use them instinctively he has to process, that pause will get exagerated and exposed at the NFL level. Former wrestler who may end up inside or in a swing position.
10.Kellen Diesch ASU 6-6 300 79 Late 4th
One year starter who has a tremendous frame and wing span, a strong candidate for a OL swing position and shows the tools to develop into a starter with some strength work. Late bloomer who has the overall athleticism to get to 2nd level on run plays, plays with good balance, hands are strong and feet are quick enough. Was able to handle speed rush rather well but will struggle with power rush teams. will be best as a flexable quality reserve who can start when needed, never likely to be a full-time starter.
11.Jack Snyder SJSt 6-5 310 75 Late 5th
Most likely a solid backup linemen who will play all over the line and be around the league for some time. 5 year starter who is technically excellent, average athlete, short arms, feet are average. He wins plays on technique, versitile, high football IQ. He will find a way to stick around the league likely for numerous teams over his career.
12.Tyler Vrabel BColl 6-5 307 73 Mid 6th
Likely will get drafted much higher on name only. While size and frame are fine he is a marginal athlete at best. Started at RT for a season then two at LT, technically very sound but again his overall athleticism will relagate him to swing OL player in the best case.
13.Matt Waletzko SDak 6-7 305 70 Mid 7th
Dominant at the small school level, great frame and solid athlete, not likely to ever develop into a full time starter. With a season on practice squad he could develop into a solid swing OL.
14.Austin Deculus LSU 6-7 325 69 Late 7th
Once a Top 5 OT recruit who just never was athletic enough. Very strong, heavy feet, limited quickness.Likely candidate for practice squad. He will need to work hard and be very flexable to what he is asked to do to make a team.
15.Nick Zakelj Ford 6-6 315 68 Late 7th
Continuing the small school theme this season this player was a 4 year starter, great frame decent athlete who has a chance to stick in a run heavy offense as a swing player

1.Darrian Kinnard KY 6-5 345 90 Late 1st
Most will have him at Gaurd and I understand the thought process and agree he can excell there also. My point is his BEST spot would be RT in apower run system. Powerhouse run blocker, eases to 2nd level and finishes blocks with violence. Yes he is somewhat inconsistent in pass protection, he moves forward with more ease than backwards causing lapses in balance that will need addressed, to me it is coaching and technique. As a run blocker he is absolutely domminant, focuses and hunts down players at 2nd level much smaller and engulfs them, very sr=trong at point of atack, highly aggressive and violent in small spaces. In pass protection he will need serious footwork coaching but that is a rather simple fix for a compentent coaching staff. He has the tools to become an All Pro RT within 3 seasons without a doubt. Of course he has the skills to do that inside also, GREAT value as a late 1st round pick!
2.Abraham Lucas WashSt 6-6 328 87 Late 2nd
UNDERRATED ALERT!! I'm considerably higher on Lucas than anyone. His best fit will be RT in a pass heavy offense, some may even want to move him to LT. 4 year starter in a pass heavy and complicated offense, well coached, excellent technician, rarely makes mental mistakes, understanding of the pass game is unrivaled at the RT position this season. He truly is a plug and play guy at this position. While a great technision his physical traits are not at the same level. Foot quickness is average, physical strength is slighly below average for the position and will need some work, a year or two with a NFL strength coach will solve that. With his experience, technical ability and knowledge of the pass game his strong traits far outweigh his fixable flaws, look for 10+ years of quality play from Lucas.
3.Thayer Munford OSU 6-6 320 86 Early 3rd
Another player who may well be drafted to play elswhere but his best fit is here, better athlete than given, shows solid quickness, very good hands, decent footwork and great strength. Played LT/RT/G so that versatility increases his overall value tremendously and he could play any of thoses positions when needed. His best spot is as a RT in passing offense, with his strength and size his run blocking will be excellent and with some isolated work he will become a solid pass protector. Veratiliy, size, strength make him an excellent value in round three.
4.Sean Rhyan UCLA 6-5 320 85 Mid 3rd
Following the theme so far Rhyan is veiwed as a Guard by most but he has played LT for 3 seasons, show unique quickness and athleticism and while he could excell inside his best spot is at RT. His background at LT helps his pass protection, technically very sound, quick enough hands and footwork is quite good, built solid and strength is above average, he does not get knocked off his feet often, very agile for his bulk showing plus balance. Mauling blocker who has the ability to track much smaller players well at 2nd level and he is a solid finisher. Only flaw is his length, arms not long, height marginal for the position. Looks to be a great value here no matter where you want to play him.
5.Daniel Faalele Minn 6-8 380 84 Late 3rd
BUST ALERT!! Absolute physical monster, played most of his caeer at 400lbs+ and was still effective, would be aided by trimming up about 30 more lbs. His weight issues are why I give him the Bust Alert, if not monitored when he has far less supervision it could easily get out of control again. Remarkable athlete for his mass having played Rugby and Basketball in his native Austraila, shows quickness and agility of someone 80lbs less, imagine what he could do in better condition. Quicker hands than you would think, footwork is average but excellent for his mass at that makes him difficult to get around. Teams will need to be careful not to overdraft him as work is needed, solid value here.
6.Obinna Eze TCU 6-7 315 83 Early 4th
Long strong and athetic player with a Basketball background and only 5 years of Football. Great light feet but is in need of some coaching, shows great pass protection potential with some hard work. Natural run blocker, reaches 2nd level with ease and tracks well. Excellent developmental prospect, has long term starter potential.
7.Dare Rosenthal Ky 6-7 325 82 Early 4th
SLEEPER ALERT!! Surprising athlete for his size, former DL has a nasty steak in him but needs to gain consistency in his game. Solid run blocker but pass protection needs some serios work, with his atheticism he does have some excellent developmental upside.
8.Jarid Williams Mia(F) 6-6 310 80 Late 4th
Started his career at Houston and was on track to being a much higher pick then he transfered to the cultural cesspool that is Miami and stagnated. Has all the tools to be an outstanding RT, he must get his head right. An older and very rare 7 year college player due to redshirting and an injury season along with his bonus season. Worked his way up from a 2 Star recruit to having this chance, likely will be drafted later. Shows the resolve to get over his time at Miami and could become an excellent swing OL. Qick hands and light feet, shows solid punch and technically above average, very good athlete but consistency has been a problem.
9.Blaise Andries Minn 6-5 325 79 Late 4th
Another big mauler who may end up inside. has started at RT/LT/G over the past 4 seasons, has moments, even games of excellence, also moments of inconsistency. Show above average athleticism, great frame, wide wingspan, uses hands well, footwork is the source of his inconsistency. For a plus athlete he misses at 2nd level to often, Coaching? has the tools and experience to become a great swing player
10.Cade Mays Tenn 6-6 318 78 Early 5th
SLEEPER ALERT!! Once a very elite 5 Star recruit, played mostly guard until last season at RT, looked more natural there, plus athlete, quick hands, solid footwork excelled in pass protection so a pass heavy offense would be best fit for him. Versatility will get him on a team, it might take a year or so but he has the tools to become avery good starting RT. Players like this can make your draft with little risk, tremendous late round gamble.
11.Vederian Lowe ILL 6-5 320 77 Mid 5th
Solid well coached player, marginal athlete. Rare 5 year starter at LT, not athletic enough to stay at LT or be a full-time starter on the line but shows the ability and maturity to become a solid swing OL due to excellent work ethic and maturity, will be excellent teamate and give all he has, be ready when needed, great value at this point of the draft
12.Cordell Volson NDSt 6-7 315 76 Mid 5th
Dominant small school monster who has the physical tools to evolve, wide wing span, enough quickness but footwork is average , will be a project requiring at least two season to see the rewards. has expirience at both guard positions as well as both tackle spots making him an attractive project with that versatility, ver
13.Ben Petrula BColl 6-5 315 75 Late 5th
Very solid across the board, very strong and technically sound from excellent coaching, athletic ability is below averge, very intelligent, high Footbal IQ, has ability to become a solid swing player. 4 Year strter, one at C and then 3 years at RT, he will make a team and stick.
14.Ty Beach Wisc 6-5 310 72 Late 6th
Versatile player from OL-U so you know he is well coached, good strength, solid technique, limited athlete who has played both tackle spots, never lived up to recruiting status.
15.Luke Goedeke CMich 6-5 310 70 Mid 7th
Higher rated by others, very limited athlete, should have returned for another season after only appearing in 20 games over 4 seasons on campus.
16.Andrew Stuebner Mich 6-7 338 69 Late 7th
Huge frame but very limited athletically. Technically very solid and a strong run blocker but not enough to overcome his physical limitations. Will be little more than a special teamer and end of the bench backup.
17.Colby Ragland UAB 6-5 315 68 Late 7th
Great size, 3 year starter 2 time All Conference player, solid in all phases, not elite in any. Tough and focused effort player who just may find a place to stick around a few seasons.
GUARD RANKINGS
Rank Name Sch Ht Wt Rtg Rnd Value
1.Ikem Ekwonu NCSt 6-4 325 97 Top 10
My ranking Ekwonu at Guard is baised on one very simple premise. Would you rather draft a player in the top ten and have him be very good and make a Pro Bowl occasionally or or would you that same player be among the top 3 at his position and be in the ALL-PRO talk year after year and possibly end up in HOF? Call me crazy but I'll take the later. Ekwonu is a very rare combo of size, strength, agility, quickness and football IQ that does not come around that often. Yes he has played LT and could in NFL but his lack og length will cause issues. Powerhouse run blocker, quick, light feet, excellent hand useage, will control target one and slides to 2nd target with ease, can have problem in space so in side where quickness and agility are paramount he will thrive. Great footwork leads to his superior pass protection, quick enough and strong enough for anyone he encounters. As I said earlier his Football IQ is off the charts so NFL playbooks will be a snap, expect his reads to be flawless, rarely if ever will he make a mental mistake, he see's the field like few do . This kid is so smart he was offered by Harvard and Yale!! Plug and play 12 years minimum!!
2.Kenyon Green TxAM 6-4 330 93 Top 15
In 19 years out of 20 years Green would have led the show and be the 1st guard off the board. A true physical speciman, played both Guard and both Tackle position thoughout career. Devastating run blocker, reaches 2nd level with ease then looks for more. Tremendous mix of strength and balance, add 40 yards to your run game the day he steps on the field. Solid at picking up blitzes, will control most inside DL with ease, thick wide body and with his strength few if any will pass. Only negative is technically he could improve, he relied on his superior athletic ability to beat College players but he will need more at times in NFL. Still another Plug and Play guy for a decade plus!
3.Zion Johnson BColl 6-3 317 88 Early 2nd
Another player who on many years would be the top guard in the draft. Former FCS player who tranferred up to BC and got even better. No stranger to hard work and a large learning curve. Classic overachiever who worked himself into an athlete. Powerful in run game, hits 2nd level quickly and usually effectively, at times his lack of length is a hinderance. Solid and uses high Football IQ in pass game, while again not overly long he uses his bulk and strength and technique well to makehimself a tough target to get around. Has put in time at OT and Center also inresing his value, with some work Center could be his best position but regardless where he plays expect him to work harder than most and suceed, Coaches will love him.
4.Jamaree Salyer Ga 6-4 330 86 Early 3rd
Played mostly LT in College but did play a handful of games inside while he does not have the tools to survive the edge, move him inside and his issues are minimized. Solid strong mover in run game, attacks violently and finishes blocks well, reaches the 2nd level with ease but does not finish at same rate there and will need some work. Well versed in pass protection from being at LT and that should translate well inside where his lack of length will be far less of and issue. Expect a few hickups while he learns the NFL inside game but with his strength and mass he should become a very effective versatile player.
5.Lecitus Smith VaTc 6-3 320 85 Mid 3rd
UNDERRATED ALERT!! Powerful and polished multi year starter, excellent run blocker, his tree stup body is difficult to move. Very strong lower body. Not an elite athlete but gets the job done with a combo strong technique and Football IQ. Uses excellent hands to control his area, his lower body once set will not move, great functional strength, tracks well at 2nd level and athetic enough to handle pass protection and with high IQ he will adjust easily to pro game.
6.Marquis Hayes Okl 6-5 332 84 Mid 3rd
Long and powerful but somewhat raw player for a guy with 37 starts, that's poor, or better lazy coaching, He is well versed in the pass game but needs to be considerably more technically consistent, makes silly mistakes in hand and footwork that get him beat. Just a natural power run blocker, he hits the 2nd level with violence and is an effective finisher but with some tech work on angles he can improve dramatically. Here is a player who was good enough to be left alone by his coaches who did not see the potential he had. He can develop into a long term starter with some work.
7.Spencer Burford UTSA 6-4 300 83 Late 3rd
POSITION CHANGE ALERT!! Small Conference LT who spent two years at Guard and will thrive if moved inside. He is undersized but has the quickness, strenght and athletic ability to become a starter sooner rather that later. Technically excellent, has a nice mean streak in him. Can hit the 2nd level in run game quickly and in pass protection he has excellent short area and lateral quickness with superior technique his lack of bulk is less of a problem. Watch where he lands, a zone running scheme will be best for his skill set.
8.Ed Ingram LSU 6-4 315 82 Early 4th
Very thick and powerful, violent and effective in run game but has some balance issues in pass protection. Best fit will be in a power run game where his skill set will be best used. Very quick at point of asttack, solid in 2nd level in short space but a bit stiff in open field. Can hold his base in pass plays but will struggle with blitzes and stunts wher he gets to much space. Still in the correct scheme he can easily become an effective starter.
9.Joshua Ezeudy N C 6-4 325 81 Mid 4th
Versatile, technically sound player who is proficient at most aspects but elite in none. really should have returned for another season to work on his strength. Quick out of stance and as I said technically very sound, uses hands well. has a long enough frame for the inside and has filled in at OT in the past. I just do not understand why he rushed to declare, another year with some intense strength work and he is in 2nd round converstaion.
10.Tyler Smith Tuls 6-5 325 80.5 Late 4th
BUST ALERT!! College LT who is a natural for the inside game, Powerful run blocker, hits 2nd level with ease, keeps his feet and moves on for more. In the pass game he needs considerable work to be kind. Really looks lost at times, footwork is poor, hands are all over and his reads are often misguided. This is yet another player who rushed to decalre, he actully had two years left he could play, this guy has off the charts raw ability and with work he could easily ascend to at least 2nd round status where as now I must give the BUST possiblity.
11.Justin Shaffer Ga 6-4 330 80 Late 4th
Great size and strength combo, crushes in power run scenarios, not a great athlete. Another who is suited for a power run scheme, he really excells in run blocking, wins most short area battles, hits 2nd level with ease and is a terrific finisher. In the pass game he will need considerable work, footwork, hands , balance, technique all are below average and will need adressed before he can get regular snaps, still with his run block ability he will get some time to learn, the ball is in his court.
12.Josh Sills OklSt 6-5 325 75 Late 5th
Great size and has played OT and Guard. Multui year starter at two schools who has gained All Conf honors. Very good run blocker, hits 2nd level and has good overall technique, very strong and has a nice mean streak. Has heavy feet and his overall footwork is dismal, hands are not much better. Coaches at both of his College stops did him no favors by not stepping up his game. Sills will need time and alot of hard work to stick on a good team but the upside is there.
13.Jordan Tucker N C 6-6 340 74 Early 6th
Kind of a tweener, looks like a RT but his foot speed dictates a move inside. Shows flashes of being a dominant run blocker and has strong moments in pass game. He is an interesting project who if stashed for afew season with some serious strength and agility work come turn into a fine player. He has all the basic tools to become a starter, just in need in a few areas
14.Dylan Parham Mem 6-3 300 73 Mid 6th
OVERRATED ALERT!! 4 year starter in a smaller Conference. The former TE recruit grew into the OL. Solid run blocker, inconsistent and technically poor in pass protection. Footwork still average at best, hands are all over the place, just overall sloppy and depends on superior athletic ability to bail him out. While very athletic his strenght is well below where it needs to be, he will struggle to out athlete NFL players winning far fewer battles. Great player to stash on practice squad for a year or two but he will likely get drafted much higher than I have him and that will not happen.
15.Andrew Vorhees USC 6-5 320 72 Early 7th
Tough strong run blocker, will need considerable work technically in pass game. Very strong and tough in run game, hits 2nd level and is a solid finisher. In pass protection he is all over the place, bad more than good. Footwork is poor, hands usage also poor, overall technique is poor, he tries to use his s trength but that does not cut it.
16.Logan Bruss Wisc 6-5 310 71 Mid 7th
Another player From OL U who has started at both OT and Guard. solid in all phases as is common with Wisconsin O linemen but lacks the footspeed to play outside. Still has the potential to be a strong swing player while likely never a full-time starter.
17.Cain Madden NDame 6-3 315 70 Late 7th
Spent one season at the Dome, should have stayed for his bonus season, strong in run game., pass protection needs considerable work, work an end of the roster spot to see if he develops.
18.Josh Rivas KanSt 6-5 317 69 Late 7th
4 year Letterman, started in parts of 3 seasons. great size and strength and solid run blocker. with his size, expirience and solid work ethic he definetly can be a quality reserve.
15.Brock Hoffman VaTc 6-3 310 71 Mid 7th
Great size and some versatility, has played Guard and filled in at OT. Will need work across the board but has the size, strength and ability to contribute.
16.Chris Owens Ala 6-3 305 70 Late 7th
Spent 6 years with Saban as HC, that shows intense resolve and competitiveness.. He will need that resolve to make it in the NFL While an intelligent kid his athletic ability is marginal for the league at best.

1.Alec Lindstrom B C 6-4 300 91 Late 1st
Very solid well built well coached 4 year starter with only flaw not being an elite athlete. VERY strong , intense powerhouse run blocker who will win most battles, technically very sound, rarely is found out of position. Has the strength to handle any NT or DT he will face. Shows excellent technique in Pass protection, antisipates well, will detect and attack the blitz and can handle far better athletes with superior Football IQ and by taking the proper angle. One of the best technical Centers recently. Has done some long snapping which could prove highly valuable for roster construction. Plug and play for a decade. Good teams at the end of round one should take notice.
2.Tyler Linderbaum Iowa 6-2 290 90 Late 1st
Another solid multi year starter, very well coached and team leader. Only a tick behind #1 due to size limitations. Another very technically sound player, he will not make mistakes! He does it different by being an elite athlete for the position, lightning quick and excellent lateral movement, makes it to blocks most cannot, gets to the 2nd level will ease and often gets 3 blocks on a single play. In the pass game he may struggle with larger, stronger players, he uses superior technique and athletic ability to get into position to make the play, in the NFL he will be facing better athlete on a weekly basis and may well wear down over the season. Still I will not bet against him and consider him a 1st round value.
3.Zack Tom W F 6-4 297 87 Late 2nd
UNDERRATED ALERT!!POSITION CHANGE ALERT!! Very athletic highly versatile player who played more LT than other positions, has played Center and looks to be a natural fit there. Recruited as a Guard, starter at Center 1st then moved to LT out of necessity for the team. Highly athletic, very quick and strong for the position, strong run blocker who will reach multiple levels with ease, well versed in pass game from time at LT, sets up well, solid base, smart and processes stunts/blitzes quicky and efficiently, very light feei and very quick but occasionally inconsistent hands. Overall technically very sound but will need some work before he ready for day to day starting at Center, will be best in a finesse scheme but once up to speed look for some Pro Bowls in his future.
4.Ben Brown Miss 6-5 315 86 Early 3rd
POSITION CHANGE ALERT!! Huge for the position, played more Guard than Center and could well end up there but his best spot for long term career is here. High effort and very smart player who was a victim of poor coaching more than his own issues. While overall technically strong made consistent errors in footwork and angles that cost him, these should have been corrected several year ago. Definetely has versatility in his resume, started entire seasons at Guard and center. not an elite athlete but can overcome that with intelligence and coaching. I see him as a true "diamond in the rough" He will get drafted lower than my projection, I have little doubt of that and will prove a steal. Tremenous developmental prospect, with a little work he could truly fourish.
5.Keegan Cryder Wyo 6-4 310 84 Late 3rd
UNDERRATED ALERT!! SLEEPER ALERT!! Another 4 years starter, VERY solid but unspectacular in all phases, only TWO pentalties in the last three seasons. rather an unknown playing Center in obscurity at Wyoming. Very physical, tough, smart and technically excellent player. proficient in both run and pass game, serious finisher, reaches 2nd level and dominates on seal block on the interior. Shows great promise in pass protection, quick light feet, uses hands well, has adequate powwer and shows good balance. He will be drafted later than this and will be considered a steal.
6.Derel Kerstetter Tex 6-5 310 83 Early 4th
SLEEPER ALERT!! Really was a victim of the coaching and culture MESS at Texas during his career. The most versatile player at the position this season, has time at all OL positions but best at the Center position. Strong run blocker, show solid technique, good footwork, strong hands, decent balance and overall solid athletically, he is in major need of some concentrated position coaching, something he neve got at UT. Smart hard worker who will respond well to consistent coaching. Ideal canditdate for swing player until he takes over in the middle.
7.Dawson Deaton TxTc 6-6 315 82 Mid 4th
Great size and strength, 35 career starts and numerous academic awards , well versed in pass game due to the pass-heavy offense he was immersed in. He has size and tenacity to excel in the run game with coaching and some hard work. Very quick for his size, has ability to get to blocks many do not, he does need some lateral agility work and gets off balance at times. In the pass game his footwork can be inconsistent as are his hands. Overall a solid prospect who with some work can be a solid NFL starter
8.Cameron Jurgens Neb 6-3 305 81 Mid 4th
Former High School TE/LB who grew into the position. Highly athletic and still somewhat undersized for the position. Still in need of some strength work, uses athletic ability to overcome those strength deficencies . That said his technique has ascended to the point of a strength and continues to improve. Light quick feet, hand usage that was a weakness is now approaching a strength. Eases to 2nd level , tracks well and can get on better athletes others cannot. His pass protection skills are still a work in progress, he can be moved back by larger players and needs more bulk, his margine for error is very small. Another fine developmental player, offers little in other position but can be a NFL starter in a fews seasons. He had another year, should have used it.
9.Nick Ford Ut 6-5 317 79 Late 4th
Highly experienced, athletic highly versatile player with 40 career starts spread over ALL 5 OL position during his career. His versatility will get him drafted and on a team then necesity will dictate where he ends up. I feel center is the best spot for him. Great strength, powerful run blocker, excellent drive, can reach the 2nd level and track players with his surprising athleticism. Needs serious work in pass game, poor footwork, inconsistent hands, takes inconsistent angles, shows flashes of solid play but needs work on consistency.
10.Luke Wattenberg Wash 6-4 300 78 Early 5th
Mature 6 year player. Highly versatile, welll coached with complete seasons starting at Center and Guard. and 48 career starts. More of a technician than an athlete. Uses intelligence and experience rather that size and strength to win battles. Will use versatility to make a team, can be a solid inside swing player who will not lose you games. Has enough strength to be excellent in run game, has high Foootball IQ , takes excellent angles and technique to get players down and reach 2nd level. Solid in pass protection, again using hi IQ to get the job done. With a few seasons with a NFL strength program he can easily become a starter.
11.Jack Wohlbaugh Duke 6-3 305 77 Mid 5th
SLEEPER ALERT!! Former lofty Ohio St recruit, it did not work out there but at Duke he became a 29 game starter at Center. More of a finesse player relying on technique over brute strength, also very intelligent and has a high Football IQ to use to win battles. Very solid run blocker, not an elite athlete but can reach 2nd level, picks up stunts well, excells at trap and seal blocks, always in position to make the play. Solid and well coached in pass game, played in a pro style offense at Duke so he should pick up schemes with ease. Still needs some strength work but his understanding of the game and high IQ could make him a starter in afew seasons.
12.Dohnovan West ASU 6-3 315 75 Late 5th
3 year starter who really should have returned for year 4 to work on strength and quickness! Great natural ability but has not shown the improvment I would have liked over his career. Seamed to become stagnant and then declared and that worries me. Nice athlete but needs strength work, not overpowering in run game but effeicient, better in pass protection, has solid base, footwork needs improvment, and do hands. Used quickness and athleticism to win battles in College but will need more to ever start at NFL level. Had 2 years left at school, REALLY should have used at least one!
13.Cole Strange Chatt 6-5 310 73 Late 6th
A rare 5 year starter who played primarily LG over the course of his FCS career, spent limited time at LT and Center. has the size and overall athleicism to become a very stout swing player. 4 year All Academic performer and thats a MAJOR plus for Center position. versatility should get him the time he needs to develop, it's up to him how far that is. I can see an ending where he is a starter inside somewhere.
14.Michael Mairtti Mo 6-1 292 72 Late 5th
Undersized player with 56 Career starts at two schools, outstanding technically, great light feet, uses hands well, takes , very quick and reaches 2nd level with ease, can pull and tracks very well , takes correct angles, very smart (Has Masters Degree) Does everything very well, add 3 inches and 25lbs and he would be a 2nd rounder. I just wonder if he can hold up in NFL, little versatility, A Center only!
15.Brock Hoffman VaTc 6-3 310 71 Mid 7th
Great size and some versatility, has played Guard and filled in at OT. Will need work across the board but has the size, strength and ability to contribute.

Did the light finally come on or was '21 his season a fluke, I'm going with the former! He has an excellent frame, long arms and solid lower body. Plus quickness and light quick feet, still needs some work on consistent hand usage. Very good in run game, sets astrong edge and holds the point very well he should be a major asset to the run game. In rush situations he has the quickness, strength and agility to dominate at times, at other times he gets knocked off track and gives up on the play. Consistency , consistency , that is what he needs to be an excellent DE. he has all the tools he just needs the right coach to find his permanant on switch.
2.George Karlaftis Pur 6-4 270 90.5 Late 1st.
Most consistent and technically sound player in the group. Former top 10 DE recruit who has not really lived up to that status. He has been tecnically as sound as they come, complete team player and that has effected his numbers. Not an elite athlete but very strong , well coached and gives great effort on every play. Excell in run game, set a solid edge, willing to take on double teams for the team success. Uses technique and excellent motor to succeed in the pass rush game. His best fit would be opposite a strong rush specialist concentrating on the run game and offering some help in the rush game.
3.Kayvon Thibodeaux Ore 6-5 260 90 Late 1st
BUST ALERT!! CHARACTER ALERT!! The top athlete in the group but he never consistently showed that . We all kept waiting for him to have Chase Young type season but that never happened. He showed flashes of his all world ability but just was not the dominant player his measurables and test numbers indicate he should have been. Absolutely explosive quickness and power, he can chase down speedy RB's in the run game with ease and can even catch some WR's, able to set asolid edge and has the speed to cross the fiels to make plays, very light on his feet, powerful hands, solid tackle technique. Sounds like the top player in the draft, right? Problem is he takes plays off, can be frustrated and give up to easily when double teamed, if he cannot make the slpash play his often looses interest. One must question his motovation, his drive, his commitment to the team and his love for the game, how can you not? Still with this type of raw talent he still gets a1st round grade, would have been in the discussion for the top player without the questions.
4.Drake Jackson USC 6-4 255 88 Mid 2nd
Another who never lived up to his vast potential, rather than the player I feel he was the victim of the absolute mess both coaching and culture wise at USC over his time there. I feel the defensive scheme was just awful and never played to his obvious strengths. With some quality coaching he should explode. Lightning quick 1st step, much stronger than he looks, light quick feet, uses hands very well, has a variety of rush moves. Strong in run game, sets a solid edge, is tough for most OT's to handle with his elite speed and enough strength to make himself difficult. He needs a defense that plays him at DE exclusively and should not waste any time at OLB or any hybrid of that like he played at USC. Play to his strengths, use him where he is best and his value goes up exponentially.
5.Aiden Hutchinson Mich 6-5 270 86 Early 3rd
BUST ALERT!! OVERRATED ALERT!! I put these marks on him not because he cannot have value to a NFL team, it's because he will be wildly over-drafted and expected to provide 15+ sacks a season and that will not happen. He shows the ability to be an oustanding run defender, with his combo of strength, technique and motor he can be a serious problem in the run game. His pass rush skills are more illusion than reality,4.5 sacks in 3 years then BOOM 14 last year, why you say? He was the product of a clever scheme that consistently put him in matchups that were highly favorable, vs Penn St and Ohio St his two biggest games this was obvious and I'm surprised no one else has noticed that, his quickness is marginal, feet can be quite heavy at times, hands are very good and strong. He may well be more effective in a 3-4 set or as a complement to a strong rusher. Still I see him as an excellent overall player who will get some sacks but be of much more value in the run game.
6.Travon Walker Ga 6-5 275 83 Late 3rd
BUST ALERT!! Looks the part for sure but the numbers say otherwise. His measurables are off the charts, incredible athlete for his size, rare quickness and agility, has excellent strength , he really checks all the boxes except for one vital one, PRODUCTION!! 65 tackles and 9.5 sacks in three seasons, those numbers should be at least doubled! I cannot put a finger on exactly why except to call in the effort/motivation card. He does try to purly out athlete everyone and that did not even lead to him dominanting College ball it will get him nowhere in the NFL. Only interested in run game when it comes right at him, has the strength to set the edge n has strong hands and when he does tackle he is effective. he will be drafted in the 1st round by some GM who falls in love with his test numbers and that will not work out well, still worth a look where I have him.
7.Myjai Sanders Cinn 6-5 265 82 Early 4th
A solid consistent run defender who needs some work in pass rush consistency, has all the tools to accomplish that task. Stronger than most think, shows excellent quickness and surprising closing speed. questions about his weight will scare off some but it has not been a big issue so far. Will not overpower many but uses his quickness and light feet to get around the end. Also uses his quickness and tenacity to affect the run game. A very solid developmental prospect who should have a nice career.
8.Cameron Thomas SDSt 6-5 265 80 Late 4th
Had by far his best season with 11.5 sacks, really should have returned for another season. That said he did not so looking at his game. Likely not to be a pass rush demon at the NFL level but shows the ability to be a very strong run defender, versatile enough to be effective in a 4-3 or a 3-4. Has very good quickness , excellent strength and a frame that couls easily add 20lbs. Show light quick feet, uses hands very well, not much twitch to his game but he is a relentless effort player. It may take some time and work to adjust to the competition change but he has shown to be a hard working player who is easy to coach. great developmental player with starter posssibilities.
9.Boye Mafe Minn 6-4 265 78 Early 5th
OVERRATED ALERT!! Has shown some progress the past two seasons but still should have returned to school. He will likely be wildly over drafted and then under perform. where as if he were to be drafted where I slot him he could use the time t o develop and get the all important 2nd contract. Needs to be a pure DE, no more OLB. Shows great burst and has enough strength and the frame to add weight. Decent in run game but will need some technical work there, shows flashes of what he could become in the pass game, he improved his numbers every season. If drafted correctly he could have time to develop into a strong rotational peice or and possibly more.
10.Sam Williams Miss 6-4 265 77 Mid 5th
Really stepped up his game this past season, where he gets drafted will be the key, if later with some time to develop he has a chance to be a surprise. Has very good quickness and his 1st step can be lethal, shows enough overall athleticism to be a very effective rotational player and possibly a starter on some teams.
11.Kingsley Enagbare SCar 6-4 270 76 Late 5th
Prototypical size, good strength and has some athletic ability just seems maxed out to me. decent against the run, uses his body well and sets a solid edge. Has shown flashes of pass rush ability with 14 sacks spread over 4 years. Has agood 1st step but not overly quick. Decent player who should find a home for a few seasons but will never more than a rotational player.
12.David Ojabo Mich 6-5 250 75 Late 5th
BUST ALERT!! OVERRATED ALERT!! One year out of nowhere wonder, these guys usually flame out as fast as they erupt onto the scene. A team will likley use a 1st round pick on him and that will cost someone their job!
Does have some quickness and athletic ability, show some serious pass rush potential but very raw and limited to sppeed rush techniques. Does little against the run, weak technically. Will make the big play after doing nothing for most of the game. Will test very well, has the measurables but seriously lacking in the expirience department. He will struggle mightily with the NFL adjusting to his limited game. I just do not see this ending well.
13.Michael Clemons TxAM 6-5 270 73 Mid 6th
Sure looks the part but it has only sporadically shown on the field. Can he ever find consistency? Thick powerful frame, has had a career of flashes and waiting for the light to stay on.
14.Ali Gayle LSU 6-6 262 72 Late 6th
WHY? Why are you here? Yes he looks the part and will test well but production has been minimal. Former JC player somehow decided now was the time. Great size and strength, two years of hard work away from contributing.
15.Ryder Anderson Ind 6-6 265 70 Mid 7th
Great frame, needs to get stronger, definitely has some athletic ability, I have seen it in flashes. Nothing more than a developmental player at this point.
16.Logan Hall Hou 6-5 270 69 Late 7th
Yet another guy with all the tools and body to match but has yet to show more than flashes, he had another year and should have used it.
17.Ali Fayed WMich 6-2 250 68 Late 7th
Very undersized pass rush specialist only player, he is explosive but has shown little else of value. cannot play OLB where his size would dictate he should fit. Size will prevent his every down play at DE.

1.DeVonte Wyatt Ga 6-3 300 86 Early 3rd
OVERRATED ALERT!! Has all the tools but just never put it all togeather and took the next step. Very quick 1st step and overall quickness, great strength, very powerful lower body powerful anchor that can take on double teams. Overall great athlete for his size but could use another 15 lbs or so. Only had 5 sacks over 4 seasons so pass rush needs some help. Shows strong tackle technique when he get to the ball carrier. I give him a slight edge here on his raw potential and overall athletic ability, I may regret it.
2.Phidarian Mathis Ala 6-4 317 85 Early 3rd
Great size and strength, long arms. Uses hands very well, powerful burst and good footwork overall but just not very quick foot speed. Plays with great effort, finishes plays always around the ball by the end of a play. Some see him inside at NT and I can see him being very solid there. Shows excellent tackle technique and once he latches on it's over, he had 9 sacks his last season after only 1.5 his 1st 3 seasons and after watching his season and tape I just believe outside is a better fit for him.
3.Thomas Booker Stan 6-3 310 84 Mid 3rd
UNDERRATED ALERT!! The best athlete of the class, looks much light than the 310 he carries. Very light on his feet and his quickness is excellent. Shows great burst off the line but technical flaws often get the best of him. Strength is adaquate but will need improvement, hand uses is inconsisent and weak, need some solid coaching on footwork and is easily athletic enough to learn where his flaws are. Somewhat raw and undercoached but his athletic ability is to intriguing to pass up.
4.Eyioma Uwazurke IoSt 6-6 320 83 Late 3rd
POSITION CHANGE ALERT!! SLEEPER ALERT!! This kid has been played out of position his enire College career, yes he did it for the team which is a plus but it will cause him to drop down the draft boards. Watch his tape, I watched numerous entire game of his and openly wondered why they were using him so wrong. Massive raw athlete who was wildly undercoached. Lightning quick 1st step and his overall quickness is impressive, very powerful, uses hands well naturaly but needs some help there, powerful lower body to hold up on double teams and has solid natural tackle technique. After 4 years mostly inside he moved outside much more last season and logged 9 sacks, he's just scratching the surface!
5.Perrion Winfrey Okl 6-4 300 82 Early 4th
Long and lean, really will need to bulk up for the NFL game. Another fine athlete, lighning quick 1st step, explosive, very quick and strong hands. Needs to be more involved in run game and improve his tackle numbers considerably. With his less than ideal base he will struggle holding up to most double teams. Kind of a tweener, not quick enough for a pure edge player but on the light side for an inside guy. With his size and athletic combo his best shot is right here .
6.Chris Hinton Mich 6-4 313 81 Early 4th
Great size and strength, very solid lower base and should excel in sdefense that focuses on DL stacking up the plays. Shows very goos potential overall in run game. Offers little in terms of pass rush and not likely to change. Very good developmental propect for the right defense, fit will be important.
7.Jordan Williams VaTc 6-4 310 80 Mid 4th
Another big strong guy who has the power to hold the point, not a big penatrater, and will not offer much in pass rush but should be an effective rotaional player with excellent run stuffing ability.
8.LaBryan Ray Ala 6-5 285 79 Late 4th
SLEEPER ALERT!! INJURY ALERT!! Former Ultra recruit, top 3 at position by all services who had his career ridled with injuries. When on the field you saw easily why he was rated so high, Great size and strength, quick, agile with long arms and great natural ability. Only one season in five was not interupted affected by injury. May not go this high but I would take the gamble on him.
9.Jayden Peevy TxAM 6-5 315 75 Late 5th
Long thick player with great strength, holds the point with anybody but offers little in penatration and only had 7.5 sacks and 8 hurries in 5 years of playing double figure games every year.
10.Ben Stille Neb 6-5 295 72 Late 6th
Solid and very strong player, not much flash but held back from scheme he was in. A good fit here holding the pont and offering a little pass rush, if worked with his pass rush would improve.
11.Scott Patchen ColSt 6-6 270 71 Early 7th
Long lean player, looks to be a better athlete than he is, has nice strength, below average quickness and agility. Has some developmental possibilities.

Hard working overachiever who transfered up from Dll and showed he belonged, don't bet against these guys!

Over the past few seasons and after watching his tapes I really struggled with where to put him but he ended up here. I can see him having success at the 5 Technique spot or even on the edge in some defenses, wildly versatile player who will be successful somewhere. He really took the next step last season and with his raw ability there is no limit. Great overall athleticism and strength, lighning quick 1st step and maintains that speed, excellent hands and the feet over a 240-pound player. Shows ridiculous burst and numerous quick and fluid moves. Does need some work on the run game and tracking the ball. With his verstility and athleticism he is a strong pick here.
2.Haskell Garrett OSU 6-1 300 87 Mid 2nd
UNDERRATED ALERT!! Well seasoned and well coached 5 year player. His college numbers do not jump off the page but he played in a heavy rotation style of DL. When he was on the field his production was there. Very strong and quicker than he looks, very quick hands, light feet, excellent balance and technique from excellent coaching, highly intelligent player who tracks the ball well, has a high Football IQ and will make the best play for the team. Only drawback is he is a bit undersized and that will scare some teams off
3.Josh Pashal Ky 6-3 278 85 Mid 3rd
UNDERRATED ALERT!! Perhaps the quickest DT in the class, excellent athlete who can run down RB's and QB's others cannot. Strong, quick hands, powerful lower body with light feet, adequate strength but could use some help there shows excellent tackle ability and overall technique but needs some help tracking the ball. Another tweener who will need to be used correctly for his maximum worth to show. Showed improvement all 5 years in the SEC to he is battle tested and should be up to the task.
4.Zachary Carter Fla 6-4 280 84 Mid 3rd
UNDERRATED ALERT!! 17.5 Sacks over the past 3 seasons and spent alot of time in opponents backfields. I like him better than most and while he definetly can play some 5 Technique his best fit is here. High effort player who is solid in most traits but not really elite in any. Uses hands well, footwork is solid, very strong and 1st step is very quick while overall athleticism is acceptable. He will not run by to many but with his non stop effort he wears OL down over the game. Look for him to continue to play solid ball, will be best in a rotational DL set .
5.Matthew Butler Tenn 6-4 300 80 Late 4th
Very long armed quick player, 1st step is impressive but overall athleticism is average, uses hands well, footwork above average, shows excellent potential in the run game. Lacks in the agility aspect, not quick with body shifts and once struck off balance he has difficulty getting back on track. Looks to be a solid rotational player with starter potential.
6.Matt Henningson Wisc 6-3 290 78 Late 4th
One of the strongest players in the class. High character powerful run stopper, not very quick but can collapse a pocket with his strength, leg drive is impressive. Great hands and overall technique, while not quick his footwork is very good from excellent coaching. He will be a solid rotational player and ready to start when needed.
7.Dion Novil NTex 6-4 325 77 Early 5th
POSITION CHANGE ALERT!! Massive run stopper with some pass rush ability. Quick 1st step, very powerful, good footwork and quick enough to get into gaps and cause trouble. Very good tackle technique, over 180 tackles and 11.5 sacks over past 4 seasons playing primarily NT. That adds to his value as he shows the versatility to slide into any interior spot. Has nice upside
8.Jeremy Meiser NWest 6-3 290 76 Late 6th
Worked his way up from a 2 Star recruit to starting 2 seasons at Old Dominion to the Big 10, to possibly being drafted and a FA shot for sure. Very smart, tough overachiever, will out work most . Not overly quick or strong but gets the job done on determination and heart, the NFL has long found aplace for players like him.
9.Kalia Davis UCF 6-1 310 75 Late 5th
Former HS Linebacker who really grew. Lighning quick, great closing speed and very agile with light feet, needs some technical work with hands and footwork but naturally athletic and very strong. Only played 5 games the past two seasons due to COVID and an injury. Healthy now but really should have used the year he had left to improve on technique.
10.Otito Ogbonnia UCLA 6-3 320 74 Early 6th
Great size and strength, versatile and can play 3 Tech and NT, shows good athleticism, very under coached and misused at UCLA. Solid in run game but very limited in pass rush game
11.Mustafa Johnson Col 6-2 290 74 Early 6th
SLEEPER ALERT!! 3 years ago I would have thought he would be in the top 5 at this position but his career was stagnated by injuries and his own lack of work. Undersized, very quick and strong, solid tackler, and has shown pass rush ability. He has potential to become a solid rotational player and maybe more..
12.Demetrius Taylor AppSt 6-1 295 73 Mid 6th
Another undersize quick player. Taylor had 26.5 sacks for career all from the inside and that shows some potential for sure. Solid against the run, needs to improve his strength, hands and footwork, relied on beating opponants with quickness in small school conference.
13.Kurt Hinish NDame 6-1 300 71 Early 7th
Shows some promise as a two down player to hold the point and play run defense, pushed his way to a couple of sacks a year but that will not happen in NFL.
14.Derrick Tangelo PennSt 6-1 305 70 Mid 7th
Another tree stump with two down potential, thick, strong but not athletic
15.Kobie Whiteside Mo 6-1 300 69 Late 7th

OVERRRATED ALERT!! BUST ALERT!!! He will absolutely blow away most with his test numbers!! MASSIVE body, quicker than anyone this size should be! While he has shown quick feet on occasion I've seen little consistency, many other believe he can play elsewhere , I DO NOT! He has gotten where he is purly on being the biggest guy on the field who happens to be an absurd athlete. That said he will still likely be the biggest guy on the field and still an absurd athelte even by NFL standards so he can be successful. Quick powerful hands, excellent straight ahead speed, will be able to completely clog the middle and will require more than one other player to most his immense body, think of Ted Washington with wheels. He can be an absoluty dominant NT if he wants to be! Scheme will be vital to his success, put him outside the middle and expect to be disappointed, excpect sacks and consistent penetration ,you will be disappointed, put him in the middle and expect him to engulf the middle of the line, gum up his entire area and you will get what you want. Problem is I do not see him lasting past the 20th pick and THAT will be a mistake!
2.John Ridgeway Ark 6-6 325 82 Late 3rd
UNDERRATED ALERT!! Former Small College player who spent one year in the SEC and made it a good one. Excellent strength, massive frame, uses that strength and size to gum up the middle of the field. Powerful punch, quick hands, heavy feet and unmovable when set. Work well against the run, if he latches on it's over. As for pass rush , well that's not his game and never will be, after his intial move he has rather slow feet, little in lateral movement . If your team runs a true 3-4 with a classic NT want him to hold the point, be an unmovable object play after play while others make plays this former HS State Champion Wrestler is your man. And while I give him a late 3rd round grade you would likely get him in the 5th!.
3.Travis Jones UConn 6-4 333 76 Mid 5th
Another massive framed kid, this one played in obscurity at UConn that is one of the bottom five in terms of publicity. Very effective against the run, had 8.5 sacks in three years against lesser competition but showed some ability to get upfield. Very strong, excellent straight ahead power, can hold the point against most, has a nice 1st step but overall slow heavy feet and just not very athletic. He will need some strength and agility work but still shows enough to be a solid day 3 pick and contributer.
4.Tyrone Truesdall Fla 6-2 330 74 Mid 6th
Spent 4 years at Auburn and looked two years ago to be on a better track. Great size, strength and athletic ability but motor does not stay on all the time. Quick 1st step, hands and shows some burst but gives up on plays to easily. It's all up to him where he ends up, I give him this grade on ability but he will likely get drafted much later if at all..
5.Neil Farrell LSU 6-4 335 72 Late 6th
Great size and frame, excellent strength, very good 1st step and surprising overall quickness. While he tracks well and can get to the ball often he has shown inconsistency in his tackle technique acusing missed tackles.. Offers little in pass rush, lateral movemnet is very limited, it's straight ahead all the way for him. He can be moved back by bigger lineman as he struggles to hold the point due to short arms and poor hand usage. has some ability but not more than a rotational DL.
6.Noah Ellis Ida 6-4 367 71 Mid 7th
SLEEPER ALERT!! Small conference monster, very strong and a better athlete than you would think. Nice hands, light feet, great 1st step and overall quickness and the strengthto really push a pile. This guy could really surprise. TREMENDOUS late round pick!
7.Tyrise Stevenson Tuls 6-3 365 70 Late 7th
Massive and very strong lower body, hard to move out, will take more than one to move him. Prototype NT size and power..
8.Marquan McCall Ky 6-3 380 69 Late 7th
Monsterous human who can move. I kept waiting for him to use his athletic ability and size to cause mayhem but it rarely happened.

This guy just gets better every season, shows a consistent and excellent motor, very high Football IQ which is vital to the position, quickly processes what he sees and reacts violently. Sure tackler, showed sound and improved instincts in pass coverage last season with 3 Int's returning 2 for scores. Very old school player, very tough, strong and has the physical ability to rush the passer but was not asked to in scheme with only 5.5 sacks over 3 seasons. Look for him to be dominant in run game, he registered 213 Tackles in his last 19 games and that's impressive. A solid athlete but he will not light up the testing numbers, facts are he plays considerably faster than he will test. Team leader on and off the field, high character kid who will be a coach on the field , one of the primary traits for the position.
2.Quay Walker Ga 6-4 240 88 Mid 2nd
SLEEPER ALERT!! More of an athlete playing the position at this time but his physical traits should not be discounted regarless of whether the Georgia coaching staff did or not. When I watched him last season I often wondered why they would not take advantage of this kid. Strong tackler with crazy range and finishing ability, has shown in limited oppertunities he has some very undeveloped pass coverage ability. Shows excellent playing strength, very quick and his long speed is impressive, he could easily slide outside when/if needed and that versatility is a true advantage. With his athleticism he could provide instant help on Special teams and that is another major value to a team drafting him on potential. Though in my opinion he was wildly underused in the Georgia scheme he never complaned, did what was asked of him and that shows a team 1st and coachable nature, 1ST round physical talent who can surprise given the opportunity.
3.Ellis Brooks PennSt 6-1 235 85 Mid 3rd
UNDERRATED ALERT!! SLEEPER ALERT!! When finally given the opportunity to play regularly he responded very well last season with 100 tackles. Shows excellent technique in tackling, uses good angles and finishes with violence. Outstanding instincts and read ability that will only improve with time. Solid athete who will test decent but plays much faster, was not asked to rush or pass defend much in scheme but shows the physical ability and football IQ to handle both adequately. Best fit in a run game tackle 1st scheme and may need to be rotational for 1st season. I rated him this high on developmental and log term prospects and likely will still be on the board in 6th round and some team will get a gem with some work and patience.
4.Nate Landman Col 6-2 235 84 Mid 3rd
INJURY ALERT!! I'm the only one with him this high, others would have after his 1st three seasons but an achilles injury and shoulder injury derailed his past two seasons. When healthy he is perhap the top run defender in this group, outstanding raw instincts in run game and a vicious and sure finisher. Was rather unpolished as a tackler relying on effort to get the job done before his achilles and never seemed close to 100% after. Also before his achilles injury he had shown some pass rush ability and not to be a liability in pass coverage with 3 Int's and 6 PD's in two seasons with over 100 tackles in both, well last season that was not there even before his shoulder. Medicals will be vital and scare off many teams and I understand that. He will be drafted much later and perhaps not at all but as we have seen for decades it's where you finish not where you start. I'm not here to predict where players get drafted just when they should be, my rating stands and time will tell.
5.Jack Sanborn Wisc 6-2 235 83 Late 3rd
Top effort player in the group and many great MLB's have shared that same trait. Not an elite athlete but more than makes up for that with high Footbal IQ, a relentless motor and always being where he should be. 33 career starts and very well coached, reads, reacts and attacks very quickly and decisively. Will not test well but more than makes up for that with superior knowledge and game preparation. He has shown some pass rush ability with 5 sacks in two separate season, also had 3 Int's one year so there is some pass coverage ability He will be a coaches favorite on his intangables, some may continue to try and replace him but he will win out over better athletes with game performances. He can easily fit in a 3-4 ILB role with his skill set and look for him to become a fixture on Special teams early increasing his value.
6.Damone Clark LSU 6-3 245 81 Mid 4th
Exploded this past season after 3 season of incosistent play. Great size, excellent athlete, good quickness and excellent closing speed. Shows good instintcs in coverage but technially weak and will be picked on. Still plays out of control at times in the run game. He will need some tuning but raw skills are there, he will need to perform well on special teams while he learns, definetly has a high upside.
7.Channing Tindall Ga 6-2 230 80 Late 4th
Great athlete, very quick and has excellent closing speed, strong player excellent against the run. Tracks the ball well, sheds blockers and takes excellent angles, little work needed there. In coverage he has issues and will need considerable work, two down player for the short term but has the tools to be more. Should excell on special teams.
8.Troy Anderson Mont St 6-3 242 77 Early 5th
OVERRATED ALERT!! GREAT athlete without a doubt but teams must be careful not to fall in love with his test numbers and look at the film. Former RB and QB has only played LB the past two seasons full-time and it shows. Made plays in FCS with his athletic ability, shocking quickness and closing speed but often out of control. He struggled with pass coverage at FCS level so what will happen in NFL? He will be a liability to say the least. With his skills he no doubt can instantly be a force on special teams but at least two years away from a 3 down player on defense. He WILL be overdrafted and will struggle.!
9.Aaron Hansford TxAM 6-4 236 76 Mid 5th
OVERRATED ALERT!! i've seen him as high as 3rd round elsewhere. Wildly athletic former WR who is still learning position. Very quick and crazy closing speed, very raw technically, has consistent struggles in coverage, does not recognize and process quickly then has to use speed to catch up, can give up to quickly when facing large athletic blockers. Srength still not where it needs to be, to often cannot shed blocks. Just a raw athlete who will test very well, I'm not sure if he can contribute oon special teams now due to poor tackle technique. He is a rare athlet for the position. Some team will take him early, he should go later and spend a season on practice squad
10.Micah McFadden Ind 6-2 230 75 Late 5th
The opposite of Hansford, average athete with exxcellent intangables. True student of the game, two time team Captain, very smart, high footabll IQ decent size and strength but not very quick and average closing speed, He relies on his quick processing and reations to make it to play, he should prove valuable on special teams.
11.Chance Campbell Miss 6-2 240 74 Early 6th
A hard working overachiever. Average athlete but quick mind and high football IQ. Excels in run game, very quick to identify, process and attack and he is a solid tackler. In pass coverage his physical shortcommings are evident, lacks the speed and stop/start ability to stick with most RB's and TE's. Likley a two down player who should be solid on special teams.
12.Nephi Sewell Ut 6-0 228 73 Mid 6th
Another hard working effort player who excells against the run. Quick processer, solid ball tracker and excellent finisher despite being undersized. A liability in coverage due to length and speed, will struggle in 90% of matchups with RB's and TE's due to these two items. Shouls prove valuable on special teams.
13.Terrel Bernard Bay 6-1 222 72 Late 6th
Very undersized LB. Uses his superior quickness, speed and overall atheticism to excel in the run game and as a pass rusher, 16.5 sacks in last 3 seasons. Has the tools for coverage but has not shown any consistency there. He will struggle much more in NFL with bigger more athetic OL and RB's. Should be an excellent special teams player.

Pure effort overachiever tackle machine with 483 tackle for his career, major liability in coverage, limited athlete.

1.Nakobe Dean Ga 6-0 225 90.5 Late 1st
Great, explosive but undersized athlete. He does not let his size be a detriment to his playing style and that may well shorten his career. Also it will be crucial where he plays, I see him best here opperating near the line where his quickness can be best used to get to ball carriers, use him to pick up TE's in coverage and use that quickness again to shoot gaps and provide another pass rush option. He showed a major production increase last season with 6 sack, 2 Int's and 6 PD's. Very intelligent and high Football IQ to go with that, great athlete who also has a relentless motor, high character team leader. Some feel his only fit is at weakside OLB but I differ. This guy is a play maker and needs to be in the position to best use his impressive abilities, to many players over the years are pigeonholed by short sighted "football people"
2.Devin Lloyd Ut 6-3 235 90 Late 1st
Still rather a novice at the position after being recruited as a DB/WR from HS. Dynamic athlete who shows the raw traits to truly excel here. Another who shows unique athleticism for the position. Equally adept in pass and run game. Uses quickness to disrupt the run game, often beating RB's to the edge and forcing them into help and with 111 tackles and 22 TFL last season he finished many of them off without help. Also shows excellent potential in pass rush with 16.5 sacks over his past 33 games. Returned 3 Int's for TD's and this is an extension of his HS career when he did the same, he tracks the ball better than anyone else in this class. Has adaquate strength but could use abit of help there, at times he will rely on athleticism to make plays and that will be more difficult at this level. Overall a smart well coached team 1st player who can have succuss at just about any LB position or scheme. Most years he would be my #1 but got edged out this season.
3.Christian Harris Ala 6-2 235 88 Early 2nd
He will need to be used as a run defense 1st player or the short term somewhat limiting his immediate value. He shows excellent instincts and pursuit angles in the run game and is an effective finisher, solid athlete who shows the ability to track the ball very well and has the ability to run down most RB's. Strong, quick and decisive in the run game. had 10 sacks over the past two seasons while not being featured as apass rusher so serious potential there. His one area in need of help is pass coverage, often slow to react, out of position or just loses his target. Qucker TE's often just blew past him and in the NFL that will just being a larger problem. He should be able to provide some extra value on special teams with his tackle ability but unless he responds to coaching and improves his coverage skills he will be limited.
4.Brian Asamoah Okl 6-0 228 86 Early 3rd
Another who could get thrust into the weakside OLB converstaion on his size but much like Dean above his best spot is here where his short area quickness and pass coverage skills will free up others to do the heavy lifting. Was not asked to rush the passer much at College but with his quickness and tracking abilities if his spots are picked correctely he could develop nicly there. Has the look of a SS playing ILB, lightning quick and impressive long speed should lead to a versatile move around the defense player with excellent value not to mention how his game relates to the all important special teams roll. He had another season to use and frankly should have but this is what we get these days and hopefully he gets the right spot to develop his vast potential.
5.Edefuan Ulofoshio Wash 6-1 235 82 Mid 4th
SLEEPER ALERT!! I'm jumping out on a limb here and it's a rather thin one. I'm rating him here purely on his crazy athleticism and unique raw ability as consistency was fleeting for him. At times he would make the "wow" play and often for short stretches you would see the light come on but he was also frustrating at times He has superior quickness, solid strength, good lateral ability, hits hard and show the athletic ability to be an asset in pass coverage. Drafting him is taking a swing for the developmental aspect, looking at his Washington career the coaching sitsuation was to be kind less the ideal and that stunted his groath but it really is up to him and his own head whether or not he makes it at the next level..He literally has all the tools but just does not realize that. Likely he will be drafted in the 7th if at all.
6.Zakoby McClain Aub 6-0 225 81 Late 4th
Undersized but very quick solid tackler with over 200 stops the last two seasons. Has the quickness and speed to matchup with RB's and TE's in coverage but longer players can get an easy advantage on him. Has good strength for his size but can get swallowed up by more athletic OL. Likely to be a core special teamer and that helps. Some see him as aweakside OLB and thats possible but he fits better here in my opinion regardless of size limitations.
7.Leo Chenal Wisc 6-2 260 80 Late 4th
Biggest player in the group. Very strong, rock solid against the run, 114 tackles. 17.5 TFL's and 8 sacks last season. Has the size and strength to take on OL and hold his ground, shows sound lateral moves to make tackles but not very quick overall and long speed is just not there. His speed causes him to be a major liability in coverage and blitz situations. Likely a solid two down ILB with special teams value
8.Jojo Domann Neb 6-1 230 77 Mid 5th
Perhaps the best pass defender in the group, former DB who still has coverage skills. Quick lateral moves, matches up weel with RB's and TE's freeing others to blitz. Has the long speed to run with some WQR's. In run game he is still awork in progress, technique is raw and results below average. Likely to play 1st in passing situations and possibly progress from there, but could just end up a rotational player and on special teams.
9.Josh Ross Mich 6-2 230 72 Late 6th
Solid run defender who is very limited in coverage and blitz abilities, He has played special teams regularly in college and that might get him abackup spot on some team.
10.Lakia Henry Miss 6-0 235 71 Early 7th
Two years ago I would have thought he would have volved to 2nd/3rd round status at least by now but that did not happen. He has regressed each of the past two seasons. Still hits aton but just lack the fundamental techniques needed to excell at the position. A very good athete who just needs to be coached, and LISTEN!
11.Grant Morgan Ark 5-11 230 70 Late 7th
Run defender 1st/2nd/3rd over 100 tackle each of last two seasons.. Has decent straight ahead quickness and lateral movement but not the speed necesary or the physical stature to be effective in coverage had on 4.5 sacks in 5 seasons so blitzing is not his thing either.
12.Tre Walker Ida 6-1 240 69 Late 7th
Thick powerful and quick small college ILB. will need work but upside is there

Kind of a tweener who could also have success in a 3-4 OLB position. Provides great pass rush instincts and has the overall quickness and agility to excel at the NFL level also. Tracks the ball very well and alays seems to be there at the end of a play. Shows great potential for big plays, 15 sacks, 19 hurries and 25.5 TFL's in the past two seasons. Has the strength to even hold up as a DE in some 4-3 sets providing even more versatility. He will need some work in coverage sitsuations as he was not asked often to contribute there but he has the skill set to accomplish that. Not a sure fire star but an athletic, productive, versatile player with big play capabilities and a high upside with coaching.
2.Mike Rose IoSt 6-4 245 85 Mid 3rd
UNDERRATED ALERT!!! Classic overachiever who teams will try to replace every year but he just will not allow it. Very underrated overall game do to the fact that he will not test well, while his size is excellent he is an average athlete, his quickness and speed are below average, strength is excellent, agility is average, he makes up for that with superior effort and high football IQ. Always where he should be. May end up inside in a 3-4 set and I can see him fitting well there in most schemes. Also will be a Special Teams fixure from day one with his high effort and coach on the field mentallity. No way he gets drafted this high, after 5th for sure but once he gets in camp the coaches will love his work ethic and no mistakes.
3.Darrian Beavers Cinn 6-3 250 82 Mid 4th
Another tweener type that I feel would best fit here but could also succeed in a 3-4 set OLB. Great size, strenghth. decent quickness and overall athlete, above average lateral ability . Excellent run defender, tracks the ball and finishes with violence. Hard working effort player who has improved every season, show some ability in pass rush and will need some help in coverage situations. Will likely provide instant help on Special Teams with his work ethic and ball tracking ability. A solid tough hard-working player who will need some coaching but should respond well and have a nice career.
4.DeMarco Jackson AppSt 6-1 230 81 Mid 4th
SLEEPER ALERT!! Really took it to another level last season after 3 years of growth. 120 tackles 19TFL's 6 sacks and 12 Hurries last season. Every game I watched he just made himself known throughout. Some like him better inside and I can see him having sucess there also but outside in space is where he will be best used. Very quick and show explosion towards ball carriers, tracks well and does not miss tackles. Shows a knack for find spaces in pas rush and will be an effective blitzer. Size limits him some in coverage and he needs some help there. Shows the abilities to be an outstanding Special Teams player and that coupled with his versatility make him solid value pick here.
5.Jeremiah Gemmel N C 6-1 225 79 Late 4th
Undersized high effort, High Football IQ, two time team Captain and team leader. Plays with his head more than is average physical abilities. Decent quickness and play speed, strength above average for his size, he can hold up against larger players on technique and effort, that said he is on the small side obviously so he will need to avoid the more athletic linemen he will face at NFL level. Excellent ball tracker, always where he should be and can run a defense on the field. look for him to be an instant contributer on Special Teams and to flourish there, should develop into asolid rotational OLB who could fit somewhere into most schemes. Coaches love players who do not make mistakes and that is his game!
6.Darian Butler ASU 6-0 225 76 Mid 5th
Very athletic but undersized and underpowered player with solid run game technique and excellent leadership and team 1st qualities. 4 year starter and 3 time Team Captain. High effort player who is a coach on the field. Improved athleticism last season and had 3 Int's and was much more effective in pass game but still more of an effort player.. High Footbal IQ and do not be shocked if he is a Special teams Captain somewhere soon.
7.Braylon Spector Clem 6-2 230 73 Late 6th
Tough hard nosed well coached effort player. Average measurables and athletic ability. Shows some rush ability. Likely to excell on special teams.

349 Tackles, 60 TFL's, 34 sacks, and 46 hurries in his career! Lightning quick, great long speed, tremendous agility if only he were bigger and stronger he would be a Top 10 pick. Has unique ability as a pass rusher and that will get him on a team, he also shows the skills to be a highly effective run defender, with his quickness, very light feet and ability to change direction he has the skillset necessary to excel. With his physical gifts he certainly can become a solid pass defender but he was not asked to do that in college. Also his skills obviouly translate well to Special Teams play and he can effect games there also. Some see him as just a Pass rush specialist but I see much more and an excellent value pick.
2.Brandon Smith Penn St 6-3 245 87 Mid 2nd
Likely has the best overall tools in the group. Lighning quick and twitchy athlete who is just scratching the surface of his ability. took a major leap in production and footall IQ last season after a couple of season just relying on his physical tools.
3.Arnold Ebiketie PennSt 6-3 255 86 Early 3rd
I struggled with where to put him, 4-3 DE or here and frankly I'm still not 100% sure on this. Blew up with 9.5 sacks last season after transfering from Temple, another year really would helped him. Late bloomer who has only been playing the game for 6 years.
4.Jeremiah Moon Fla 6-4 245 82 Early 4th
UNDERRATED ALERT!! Kind of a reach here but after watching seveal of his games and a lot of tape I'm convinced he was a victim of the poor coaching that was prevalent at Florida during his time. Very quick 1st step, long rangy frame with good overall athleticism. Has above average strength and is mentally resilient from his college expirience. Shows some solid raw ability in pass rush and is natural at the run game, flows well, tracks the ball well and sees the field. Quick to react when in coverage but lacking in coaching when it comes to technique. A developmental player with a high upside is how I see him.
5.Jesse Luketa Penn St 6-3 250 81 Mid 4th
SLEEPER ALERT!! Great physical talent that was wildly missused by Penn St coaches. If an NFL Coach has enough snap to recognize this and use him to his strengths he can excell. Needs to be used primarily here as an OLB in a set that uses his size and athletic ability as a matchup problem. Very good quickness and underrated speed, uses hands well naturally but was never coached up in hands or footwork, great size and strength for the position. Very good run defender, tracks well and finishes the play. His sack numbers were dismal at best but that was the system, I never figured out why they used him as they did. With some work his pass rush will improve quickly, he should instantly become a solid rotational player and Special Teams demon will his game develops. He will be a day 3 pick for sure but I'll keep him here in my ratings.
6.Amare Barno VaTc 6-5 245 80 Mid 4th
He had another season to use and I have no idea why he did not! But looking at his game he is a smooth natural athlete with above average quickness and speed, stregth could be better, shows good lateral movement. His strength issues are evident in run defense, OL can push him out, hands are below average but he does show decent footwork just not the strength to hold the point. Very smooth in coverage, can run with most RB's and TE's with ease and show solid ball skills. Great frame, long arms and room for some added lbs. Solid developmental player with starter potential.
7. Christopher Allen Ala 6-3 245 79 Late 4th
SLEEPER ALERT!! INJURY ALERT!! Injuries robbed him of two seasons, he came back fom one to have his best season, last year he was injured in game one. Great frame, very strong and athletic, can handle OL with his strength inspite of his inconsistent hand usage. Showed to be asure tackler in his one full season, has solid technique, reads well, reacts quickly and decisively. Needs some work on pass rush but shows good natural ability. this former lofty recruit was lost a bit at the factory that is Bama but when on the field he showed great natural ability and looks to me to be an excellent developmental prospect.
8.Kuony Deng Cal 6-6 245 78 Late 4th
SLEEPER ALERT!! Long strong and very athletic player. Solid functional strength, shows good instincts, solid technique but was wildly misused/underused during his College career. The coaches just never seemed to know how to use him and a couple season were interupted by injuries. I see him as a solid edge rusher with some coverage ability, his length should be very effective in zones and his tackle radius is impressive. likely he should have transfered out after the 1st couple seasons but to his credit he stuck it out showing resilience and charactor! Take this guy with the intentionof developing his untapped potential. He likely will not be picked until round 6 or later. I'll rate him here and own it.
9.Kyron Johnson Kan 6-1 235 77 Early 5th
A very interesting pass rush specialist with possibly some developmental prospects. Lighning quick and good overall athletic ability, nice strength and has the tools to be more than just a rush specialist. It will take a year or two to develop but with his athleticism he certainly has the skills to be a core special teamer until more develops.
10.Aaron Mosby FresSt 6-3 245 75 Late 5th
SLEEPER ALERT!! Great frame, very quick, fast and strength is above average. Played mostly stand up DE at college but he translates better here to me than as a pure 4-3 DE but he could have success at either spot. Has all the tools, very good quickness and long speed, excellent lateral movement, could use some strength work. Hard hitter forcing 5 fumbles last season, 16 TFL's and had 6 sacks last season. Outtanding developmental prospect with wild upside.

Very raw former TE with only 2 seasons on defense. Excellent overall athleticism and shows the attitude and discipline to learn what is needed. INJURY ALERT!! Once a decade talent. He has all the tools necessary to be a consistent All Pro. Great quickness and long speed, tremendous natural cover ability, rare press coverage skills, smooth fluid hips, change of pace and directional ability is seamless, shows no fear run support and solid technique and ball tracking skills. Simply the entire package and look for him to be in the All Pro discussusion for at lest a decade. The only negative is after a historic freshman season he has battled injuries and a very disfunctional program the past two seasons. Medicals at time of this writing look good and all signs point to his full recovery and for him to live up to his VAST potential. I'm all in on Stingley , many others have backed off as have some teams , they will regret those decisions!
2.Ahmad Gardner Cinn 6-2 195 95.5 Top 10
Every time I watched this player the past few seasons he got better! Prototype size, stronger than he looks, has long solid frame, long arms, has a wiry twitched up body. Show no fear of run support and took steps to improve that aspect of his game last season. Smooth mover in short area and his long speed is underrated. He has smooth hips and transitions seamlessly and speed comes right up, solid and improved in press coverage, excellent hands, footwork and ball skills, other traits he has improved significantly over his career. A very hard worker, well coached and relentless in perfecting his craft. Rock solid plug and play guy for a decade at least.
3.Kair Elam Fla 6-2 200 92 Mid 1st
Very long strong and physical player, excels at press coverage, uses hands and long arms very well. Has very good quickness and speed, footwork gets a bit off at times, smooth hips but does not always transition well. Very willing to use his big body in run support, excellent strength for the position, built like a Safety but Corner skill set, solid tackle technique, tracks the ball well. I feel he was stunted in his College career that was hampered by the poor coaching situation at Florida
4.Coby Bryant Cinn 6-0 198 89 Early 2nd
Showed consistent improvement over 5 seasons, started out by being a Special Teams demon then worked his tail off to become an excellent CB over the next 4 seasons. Great size and strength, not a burner but is quick enough, long speed could be better, long arms and uses his hands very well, his footwork gets better every season, hips average and transition speed is also average. Uses his strength and superior technique to make himself highly effective, very will in run support and shows excellent ability there. His margine for error is slim with his lack of elite physical traits but he is a relentless worker, technician and student of the game, look for a long solid career.
5.Martin Emerson Miss St 6-2 195 86 Early 3rd
He almost got moved to the Free Safety class but I love CB's who hit and play the run and I think I would want to try him here 1st so here is where he is. Has the Safety build for sure, great strength for the position, solid quickness and speed, hips are inconsistent as is transition but those techniques are coachable. My overall rating of his pass coverage technique would be flawed but fixable. One area he excels is in run support, excellent ball tracker and finisher, fights off blocks well and uses his size and closing ability to take down RB's and recievers with ease. He may have to start out as an extra CB and special teams player and for sure he still may end up moving back in the secondary but somewhere he will have a nice career and in the 3rd round that is what you are after.
6.Derion Kendrick Ga 6-0 190 85 Mid 3rd
OVERRATED ALERT!! I've seen primarily 1st round grades on him and for me thats a bit high for someone this raw. Former 5 Star WR recruit who moved to defense. Great natural athlete, excellent quickness, speed and athleticism. Smooth hips and transition well most of the time but has his moments when he doesn' t trust his eyes. Is still learning ball skills on the defensive side but improved last season. Still need lot of work on run support, seems willing but technique is well below average, he will be a liability in this aspect and teams will target his area until he improves. Has alot to work with but still very raw, he will be drafted in round one and be expected to start day one and that will not go well.
7.Andrew Booth Clem 6-0 195 81 Mid 4th
OVERRATED ALERT!! BUST ALERT!! Another with primarily 1st round grades and will be drafted there. i'm just not buying this. Has all the tools to be an excellent starter but lacks consistency you want. Has solid press skills, equally effective in man and zone, smooth hips and transition is very good quickness but long speed is rather average and player can get behind him. One problem I see is he has mental lapses and gets out of position, ball skills are average at best with only 5 Int's and 9 PBU's in 3 seasons. He also shows little interest in run support, seem to avoid contact and that is a problem with me. I see a high BUST probability here, time will tell.
8.Josh Jobe Ala 6-1 194 80 Mid 4th
Another in the long line of Bama CB's. Nice length, very good quickness and speed, excellent strength. Solid in press, his hips and transition are very average and his ball skills inconsistent. Excellent in run support, solid tackler and shows no fear of contact. he will need some work on some technical points but has the base skill set from excellent coaching to be a solid rotatioal player from day one and a possible starter down the line.

UNDERRATED ALERT!! Had his best season last year with 4 Int's and 5 PBU's He had another season available and should have used it but that rarely happens now. Very good quickness and speed, on the slight side but wirey and show no fear in run support and is an effective tackler. His lateral ability is very good, hips smooth and his transition in very inconsisyent often getting caught with his eyes looking in the backfield. A very good developmental CB with special team ace written all over him.

Well coached and uses excellent technique to get the job done, very good press potential and while his hips and transition are not always smooth he stays in position to make plays. Excellent in run support, shows no fear of contact. I almost moved him to my FS class and he still may end up there at some point in his career but for now he is a CB who should excell on special teams.

Needs some work on fundamental aspects, ball tracking, tackle position, body position, to often he just looks for the big hit. Nice developmental athlete with special teams potential also.
12.Christian Holmes OkSt 6-1 200 76 Mid 5th
Great size, decent quickness and long speed. Strong big hitter who will help in run defense, ball skills are inconsistent to be nice, lacking may be a better choice of words. He has shown flashes but relied on his size and strength to much, was just fast enough in College, may have to move to safety to stick and for sure must provide that versatility, should be quite capable on special teams.

OVERRATED ALERT!! INJURY ALERT!! Great size and length, long arms, great quickness and speed, physical player who is very strong for his size. One year starter who did very little before this past season but it was a good one. Very strong in run support, has strong quick hands, backpeddle, hips and transition are inconsistent, he has speed to stay with most. Two issues, he has had knee and hip injuries that both cost him time and his inconsistency, physically gifted and will likely test very well and get drafted much higher than this but he had another year and should have used it!

Very long and reat overall size. Above average athletically but faster than he is quick, takes a few steps to get up to speed. Technique is solid when he stays consistent and that has been an issue. Backpeddle, hips and transition all need some intense work to gain consistency , his lack of quickness shows when he gets out of step.Could move to Safety and should be a solid special teamer, has some potential as a versatile backup with some work.

Very effective and willing in run support, tacks the ball excellent and finishes surprisilngly well for his size. he gets aboost in his overall ranking for also be the #1 KR in this class, he is an absolute weapon in the return game and also shows the skill set to excel at all other Special Teams phases, a VERY strong value pick at this stage.
3.Roger McCreary Aub 6-0 193 83 Late 3rd
Outstanding short area quickness, quick strong hands and press skills, lacks the long speed necessary to excel outside, hips and transition abilities are incosistent and will be exploited outside. Looks like a willing and effective participant in run support, show solid ball tracking and tackle technique. Some will like him outside , I do not and believe his only shot is inside, his abilities also translate well to Special Teams
4.Tariq Castro Jones PennSt 6-0 191 82 Early 4th
Good size for the inside, good strength, long arms, atheltic and excellent agility but more quick than fast, he shows serious incosistency when outide with hips and transition. Very good in short area where his quickness and agility are a plus, only had 3 Int's in 5 seasons but had good PD numbers so ball skills come in to question. very willing and effective in run support, solid ball tracker and finisher.
5.Mykael Wright Ore 5-11 180 80 Mid 4th
Very quick, fast and athletic player, great in short area, solid press skills but his size, strength arm length all are major detriments to his playing outside. Solid in run game although his size hurts him there also. Hips and transition are very inconsistent, uses hands well and feet while very light and quick are not consistent either. Has shown some excellent KR potential with two TD's and with his tenacity and skill set he should be an effective Special Teams player for years.
6.Mario Goodrich Clem 6-0 190 78 Late 4th
Nice size, well built very strong and athletic. Excellent quickness but 2nd gear is lacking. Not fluid in backpeddle or transition, some like him outside but for me best fit is inside where his weak points will not stand out. soldi in run support in his only year of starting. Should be servicable on special teams but not elite with his lack of top end speed.
7.Brandon Sebastian BColl 6-0 180 77 Early 5th
Slight but very tough started games over all 4 seasons. Quicker than fast, great in short area, hands quick and feet light and change direction in an instant. Has nor fear of run support but his size hurts him there, not very strong and at barely 180 he creates little fear. Still a tough, smart, expirienced well coached player with high effort nad footbal IQ.
8.Shaun Jolly AppSt 5-9 180 76 Mid 5th
Undersized but very tough and strong, excelent quickness, long speed average, hands inconsistent, hips atransition also inconsistent. Best when he can use his toughness and tenacity to hold his point. Solid in run support but size is aproblem, likely will be limited to smaller slot WR's in coverage, should be a contributer on special teams.
9.Damarri Mathis Pitt 5-11 195 75 Late 5th
Nice size and strength, good quickness but long speed is lacking. Smooth hips and transition, ball skill very good but should have more Int's . 4 year contributer and started last 2 seasons, missed '20 season with injury. Not where he needs to be in run support, often commits late and does not always show interest, that brings into question if he will be of value on special teams. Decent developmental prospect but lack of long speed will relegate him to slot duty.
10.Russ Yeast Ky 5-10 195 73 Mid 6th
Smart tough player who will give max effort. Average athlete and undersized will limit his upside, has played CB and Safety offering versatility.
11.Jack Jones ASU 5-10 180 71 Mid7th
Very undersized, nice quickness, limited long speed. Pound for pound very tough and shows no fear in run support. Could become a valuable special teamer.
12.D'Jordan Strong CCar 5-11 175 70 Late 7th
Very quick, very undersized player with 5 Int's and 13 PBU's last two seasons.
13.Kalon Barnes Bay 6-0 185 69 Late 7th
OVERRATED ALERT!! Will test off the charts, lightning quick and fast but it does not translate to play.

1.Nick Cross Md 6-1 215 88 Mid 2nd
Big strong athletic player. Rock solid in run game, hard hitter, excellent in ball tracking and a highly efficient finisher. Shows potential but can be inconsistent in coverage, has the athletic ability, show smooth movements has the speed to stay with most RB's and WR's and the quickest TE's, shows acceptable ball skills, tracks the ball well and separates recievers from the ball often, 6 Int's over 3 seasons is average but he was not asked to cover at all times, often he was needed elswhere in the porous Maryland defense. Great talent but undercoached and often misused out of nesessity in College.
2.JaQuan Brisker Penn St 6-1 210 87 Late 2nd
Another big strong highly athetic player. Show excellent coverage ability, identifies pass plays quickly and correctly, react well to the ball, tracks well and breaks up plays. Very good in run game show high football IQ here also, tracks well , identifies the play and reacts in quick succession and show sideline to sideline ability. Worked his way to this from being a 3Star prosect who had to go to JC 1st before Penn St, hard worker, coachable team player who will continue to work and improve.
3.Juanyeh Thomas G T 6-3 217 82 Late 3rd
UNDERRATED ALERT!! Played all over at GT, played more deep Safety than anything but also came up and manned the slot at times and was effective. has the size and strength to play at the line when needed and has solid long speed for deep zones. Has excellent size, strength, quickness and speed, surprising athlete for his near LB size, shows good agility and change of pace. Just distructive in run game, tracks the ball well and has sieline to sideline ability. Tremendous developmental prospect, undercoached and often forced to play out of position out of need and shortcomings elsewhere in the team. With focus on one position and solid coaching he will blossom.
4.Bryan Cook Cinn 6-1 210 81 Early 4th
Former Small College player who transfered up worked hard and earned the starting job last season and exceled in Cincys big season. Lethal in run game, fierce hitter, tracks the ball well and is effective all over the field, shed blocks well with strong and and excellent technique. In coverage he was not used as a primary defender and that will slow his ascension at the NFL level. Has all the physical tools and work ethic to accomplish the task but it may take a year or so before he is more than a rotational piece. Should be a solid contributer on Special teams while he learns the nuances of the SS position and he is a excellent developmental prospect.
5.Cam Taylor Britt Neb 6-0 215 79 Mid 4th
POSITION CHANGE ALERT!! CHARACTER ALERT!! Great size, strength, average athlete with solid quickness but marginal long speed, his entire career I asked why was he playing corner. The Character Alert Iis due to his short fuse and his habit of making dumb mistakes. Very powerful handsm strong is press coverage but often struggles with better athletes. Fierce hitter in run game, strong tackler, tracks well and shows a solid understanding of the run game, great straight ahead quickness, lateral not so much. To me his natural fit is here close to the line with run responiblities 1st and coverage against RB's TE's mostly.
6.Brad Hawkins Mich 6-0 221 77 Mid 5th
Bigger than some LB's rated on this page. High charater solid player, but really just a run defender and should become a core special teamer on day one. Has decent long speed but quickness is lacking. Ball skills very weak, 0.0 Int's in 5 seasons and only 8 PBU's. Older player who will be 24 by the season. Should be able to transition to a hybrid LB for some extra versatility. On his pure safety abilities he would be a 7th rounder, his other traits elevate him, maturity, versatility and intelligence are always in need.
7.Tycen Anderson Tol 6-1 210 76 Late 5th
Great size, long arms, average quickness and speed, solid athlete, multi year starter. Strong tackler, ball skills average with only 2 Int's over 5 seasons. Reads well, better speed in a straight line, tracks ball well and should be quite good in run game. Has the look of an excellent special teams player. Could possibly play some LB hybrid with his strength or FS. Limited developmental prospects but with his versatility and special teams he could become valuable.
8.Leon O'Neal TxA&M 6-1 210 75 Late 5th
Tough athletic 32 game starter in SEC. Very good straight ahead quickness and speed, lateral ability very limited, very stiff. In run game he has no fear and is more than willing, big hitter but it's all or nothing, ball tracking and angles are below average leading to missed tackles, struggles to get off blocks. In coverage he is a liability but has the tools to improve but must be willing to listen to coaching. His tackling issues make me wonder how valuable he can be on special teams.
9.Greg Eisworth IoSt 6-0 198 74 Early 6th
Once I though he would be rated higher, on football IQ, technique, effort, maturity he would be a 1st rounder. On athletic ability he would not be drafted, below average quickness and speed, decent lateral ability, solid tackler. Limited in coverage due to speed, he just cannot run with most recievers he will face. He will need to make a team as a backup and core special teamer which I think will happen.
10.Dane Belton Iowa 6-2 205 73 Mid 6th
Long rangy player who has played LB as well as Safety, best around the line as top end speed is marginal, very quick and gets to the ball in a flash. Showed improved ball skills last season with 5 Int's. Has the ability to excellin run game but need technical work, angles, tracking, closing. Still had another year and should have used it like most. Still an intriging developmental prospect if taken at the right point.
11.Keith Gallmon SAla 5-10 205 70 Mid 7th
Undersized tough 3 year starter in a smaller school conference. Solid in run game, very good quickness and decent speed, very strong and decent overall athlete, Had another season, should have used it.
12.Isaiah Pola-Mao USC 6-4 205 69 Late 7th
Sure looks the part and after his '19 seaon he looked to be playing the part, was he a victim of the coaching MESS at USC? Well that is the $64 dollar question and will cost him more than that. has all the tools, long, rangy, prototypical size but can he find himself? A late round pick is where to find out.
13.S Weatherford Mia(O) 6-4 220 68 Late 7th
Great size and solid straight ahead quickness and speed, limited laterally, could develop into a Hybrid with somne work and dedication.

1.Kyle Hamilton NDame 6-4 217 94 Mid 1st
A player without a true position thanks to his College coaches moving him consistently around therefor preventing him from mastering one position. A rare combo of size, quickness, speed, agility. Shows excellent ability in run game, tackles outstanding angles, has a wide and effective tackle radius. Shows a solid understanding and processing of plays, reacts quickly, decisively and violently. Strong hands and size make him a difficult block with one player struggling to get him out of the play. Has the speed to go across the field to make plays, his coverage ability suffered the most from his versatility as he never really had alot of coverage responsibilities, when he did he looked natural and was effective but he will need some work there once he has a position. His best fit is here at FS I can see scenarios where he still moves around some creating matchup issues. No reason not to expect him to start from day one, there will be a few bumps but All Pro staus is in his future.
2.Daxton Hill Mich 6-0 195 89 Early 2nd
The best prepared out of the top 5. A true FS, excellent in coverage, often covered WR's one on one, showed CB ability with smooth hips and transition, there will not be a player he cannot cover altough taller WR's and TE's will be difficult. Very tough, quick, decisive and detructive to run game. Runs the field with ease and can cover wide areas very easiliy and is never out of a play. Very quick, excellent long speed, not the biggest player for the position actully a bit undersized but very strong for his size and does not let it effect his game. Solid day one starter who will only get better with consistent coaching.
3.Tariq Woolen UTSA 6-4 205 88 Mid 2nd
POSITION CHANGE ALERT!! SLEEPER ALERT!! OK here is my annual player who with some intelligent foresight can become a tremendous player. He will likely be drafted to play CB which he did the past two years and that will not go well but move him to FS and his natural ability will get him to a Pro Bowl or more. Surprisingly quick and outstanding long speed this former WR and he has a mean streak in him and the frame to easily add 10/15 lbs. Shows strong hands and decent press coverage ability for a novice, but his hips are rather tight and his transition skills are not fluid forcing him to use his speed to catch up and that will not happen as much at the NFL level. His play is surprisingly physical for a former WR and he shows no fear of attacking the run game, shows excellent tracking ability adn finishes well seasming to enjoy contact. An outstanding athlete who needs the right fit, I doubt he will be drafted this high but he will deserve it.
4.Verone McKinley Ore 5-10 196 85 Mid 3rd
An undersized average athlete who will succeed depsite of that. Classic overachiever, Very high Football IQ, true student of the game, uses technique, knowledge, intincts and timing to get the job done . As stated his size is below average, quickness and speed also, excellent at tracking and when he finishes he does not miss tackles. Has been solid at the line and in deeper zones. In coverage his timing and technique are excellent, he really took a step up with 6 Int's and 6 PD last season. Solid rotational player now who no doubt will contribute on Special teams, with some work he easily can become a full-time starter.
5.Lewis Cine Ga 6-1 200 84 Mid 3rd
A solid big hitter with excellent straight ahead quickness and speed. Natural for the deep zone, identifies and attacks downhill with violence, takes excellent angles and tracks the ball very well. In coverage his game is in need of some work, only good going forward, struggles in back pedal situations only had 2 Int's for his 3 year career, ball skills are average at best. I'm keeping him here but he may move to a SS spot at some point in some defenses. Solid pick here as he will find ahome and should be a solid contributer on Special Teams untill he settles in to a starting role.
6.Reed Blankenship MTSt 6-1 200 83 Late 3rd
SLEEPER ALERT!! Watched this guy numerous times ove the past few seasons and he shpows up all game long every time. Over 100 tackles twice in his 5 year career, 9 Int's 19 PBU's 4 fumble recoveries and countless plays effected due to being in the right position. HIGH football IQ. Very good quickness, speed, strength and decent size , but he wins by being in position every play where he is suppose to be, a coaches dream. Shows nice ball skills and better closing speed than you would expect. In the run game he is dominant, takes excellent angles, closes fast and hits his target. Should be an intant rotational player and special teams demon and look for him to be a starter soon somewhere.
7.Smoke Monday Aub 6-2 196 82 Early 4th
Tough solid long above average athlete with a penchant for making big plays. Solid in both run and pass games, vs the run he tracks the ball well, closes well and finishes well. Struggles with more athletic blockers. In pass game he sometimes get caught looking for those big plays and is out of position to far to close the gap and gets smoked. Also is a liability in man coverage as his transition is lacking. Still a long athlete with a high upside.
8.Theo Jackson Tenn 6-2 203 80 Mid 4th
Took a major jump in his 5th season last year. 78 tackles and 11 PBU's last season as a full-time starter. Very good quickness and speed, track the ball well and closing speed is excellent. In coverage he has flyuid movements and enough speed to stay with anyone he draws in coverage. Has played CB and Safety showing vresatility. Can cover the entire field and is a solid tackler, should be a very effective special teamer.
9.Jalen Pitre Bay 6-0 198 79 Mid 4th
Very quick, fast and strong he will light up the tests. Strong run defender who was a solid blitzer in college but the Baylor system did him no favors, he played more like a LB than Safety there. His blitz ability will be lessened considerably at the next level against better athletes. He has little to offer in coverage as of now and will need considerable work, his technique and instincts were stunted in the system and he relied purely on his physical talents to make plays, seriously you are starting from scratch with him. But he has a place as a rotational piece and special teamer while he learns due to his athleticism.
10.Tre Sterling OkSt 6-1 207 75 Mid 5th
Great size and strength, faster than quick, very solid technically with excellent instincts. makes up for his lack of quickness with excellent reads and high football IQ. Rock solid tackler, has very good long speed so he closes well and tracks well. Ball skills are average, he uses his body well, strong hands and excellent footwork. Very good all around athlete, if his quickness was better he would be at least two rounds higher, now a rotational DB with special teams ability.
11.Kerby Joseph ILL 6-1 200 74 Early 6th
Nice size and solid all around athlete but quickness and speed are marginal for NFL, he really took a step up this past season with 57 tackles, 5 Int's and 3 FR. Looks very good in run support, cover the entire field, in coverage faster WR's get by to easy. He needs some tech work to overcome his physical deficiencies. Should be a solid special teamer and backup, no real long term starter potential.
12.Akayleb Evans Mo 6-2 198 73 Mid 6th
Long armed , rangy well built 5 year player who was a CB in college. His quickness and speed dictate CB is not for him and he fits much better here. Solid and fearless in run support, likes to hit, coverage and ball skills also average and that furthers him more from CB. He should fit right in on special teams and has strter potential if some NFL coach can think outside the box just a bit!
13.Elijah Hicks Cal 5-11 200 72 Early 7th
Very smart high football IQ big hitter that just lacks the physical traits to be an every day starter. One of the most technically sound players in the class but just not quick or fast enough, lateral agility, ball skills are below average also. Hard working, heady player who still was effective, do not be surprised if he is still in the NFL 8 years from now, granted that will be with 5/6 teams but he will not give up easily. I'm sure he will jump into special teams day one and flourish there, he will make a career.
14.Qwynnterio Cole Lou 6-3 190 71 Mid 7th
Long rangy well built former FCS player with one season in the big leauges. He quickly showed he fit in with 87 tackles, still very raw in coverage and will need some patience. Nice quickness, speed, agility and a good worker, he could surprise.
15.Isaac Taylor Stuart USC 6-2 200 70 Late 7th
I'm lost on his thought process here, he definetly has shown flashes in run game and coverage, nice size, excellent athlete but not close to ready. He will get drafted, I think but he is facing an uphill climb for PT.
16.Joshua Williams FaySt 6-3 197 69 Late 7th
Small college CB who will not make it there. He needs to move back where he can use his long arms, rangy body and where his level of athleticism fits. he will still need a year on the practice squad at least.

3 years 54-66 for 81.8% with only 3 misses in each of the past two season, has not missed an EP in last two seasons. Has not been a KO specialist but is very capable when needed. A STUNNING 15 out of 19 at over 50 yards. Only drawback is he is a southern guy who has never kicked in the cold, northern non dome teams beware of that! Tremendous prospect! One of the best in recent memory.

3 years 57-69 for 82.6%, only missed 1 out of 159 EP's. 11-15 50 yards and over.Very strong on KO's averaging over 61 yardsfor 3 seasons. Prone to mental lapses the past two seasons with 4 misses less than 40 yards. Been in the south but from Ohio so he has kicked in cold weather. Excellent prospect with high upside with some work.

Took a major jump when he got to Iowa St after 3 inconsistent seasons at Fordham. 20-23 last season, only 2-2 at 50+ but shows MUCH more leg than that. averaged 63.4 with 55 touchbacks in 78 KO's last season. Has plenty of experience in all types of weather. Great prospect who is still getting better.
4.Jonathan Garibay TxTc 6-1 215 81 Mid 6th
15-16 last season including that crazy 62 yard game winner which was his only coversion over 50. Really took a major step up last season so there is some risk and he is a California kid who kicked in Texas so he has no cold weather expirience. Has limited and inconsistent KO expirience. still an intriguing prospect with a huge leg who may be coming in to his own.
5.Nick Sciba W F 5-9 190 77 Mid 7th
A stunning 80-89 for 89.9% for his career and all 193 EP's. Has the best and most consistent mechanics in the group, just does not have the leg strength. Only did KO's one season and had 15 TB's in 75 KO's and a weak 54.5 average. For a team that doesn't kick many over 40+ yards or a Dome team he would be automatic, he only tried one kick over 50 tayds and missed it, also a S Car kid who played in N Car so he has very limited expirience in bad weather. He still might make a team for a few seasons but his lack of range will be his demise.
