This is how I expect the FINAL 2025/26 end of season rankings to look

Quick Thoughts on my Rankings

PLEASE NOTE these are END OF SEASON predictions after Playoffs and Bowls as you will soon learn I do not believe in preseason polls. ALL that matters and the true challenge is predicting where teams will finish the season not just putting out some information in the summer that nobody will remember in January!!!

ALSO NOTE: While all others combine Power 5 (PWR) and Group of 5 (GOF) I feel it is best to separate the two. Now while GOF teams can be ranked in the PWR rankings PWR teams cannot be in GOF rankings for obvious reasons. While I completely respect GOF teams I just do not see them being better than PWR teams except on EXTREMELY RARE occasions. Just having a great record against weaker competition does not deserve being recognized as a Top 25 team. FACTS are when most PWR teams play GOF teams regardless of record PWR teams win therefore are better in most situations regardless of what Nation Media talking heads like to spew out there for the masses.

AGAIN these are END OF SEASON predictions after Playoffs and Bowls I do not believe in preseason polls. They are pointless and misleading to be kind. They are for no other reason than to promote TV ratings and to give talking heads something simplistic to drown on about.

How I see the final playoff ranking at the end of the regular season. The Top 4 moving on to the playoffs..

RK TEAM REC COMMENTS

1.Ohio State 13-0 They get the defense right and dominate.

2.Alabama 13-0 Back to business as usual

3.Georgia 12-1 Back to bridesmaid

4.Utah 11-2 They sneak in with a glut of 2 loss teams

5.Oklahoma 11-2 There is life after Riley.

6.Tennessee 10-2 They continue to improve

7.USC 10-2 A great season but SoCal "fans" will be grumbling

8.Clemson 11-2 Winning program in a very weak Conference, it will show.

9.Penn St 10-2 Another good season, but fans will begin to complain.

10.Florida 10-2 Improvemnt started the day they canned Mullen.

11.Arkansas 9-3 Program on a major upswing.

12.Iowa 10-2 Steady but unspectacular as always.

13.Texas A&M 9-3 Jimbo will start to feel some major heat!

14.N Carolina St 10-2 Solid season , conference weak overall though.

15.Kentucky 9-3 Program in best shape I've ever seen,, still can't compete with the SEC big dogs.

As usual the "committee" will show again the need for an 8 team playoff. The ignorant self serving media types falling into line with this are just playing ALL the fans for chumps. There will be legitimate arguments for several teams out of the playoffs to be included. No matter what with 8 teams in there is NO argument as to whether the best 5 teams are in.
