These rankings are for my preseason top NFL Draftable players. Off course these ratings are subject to change by year end, but it will be fun to see what the season shows us. As in my Draft analysis, I use my own eyes and metrics to rate players. I also break down some positions differently than most. I find this very important and the root cause of so many mistakes in the draft process. Even with all the advancements today many, many NFL executives and Draft analysts are still operating in caveman modes of years gone by and failing!! New for this season I've added a Comments section just for some added context clarifying my opinion on players.
LEFT TACKLES
Not a very strong or deep group. I don't see a day1 performer, only a couple day 2 guys as of now. Some IDIOT NFL GM will likely insist on starting Proctor here, he can play it, but will not be his best.

1.Drew Shelton PennSt 6-5 308 Rock solid multi-year starter. Equal in run and pass game, I like him better than most,

RIGHT TACKLE
This class in loaded, sad truth is that IDIOT NFL GM's will more than likely destroy a number of these players by insisting the play LT which while a few have the ability, their best shot for long term success is at RT or even a move inside

GUARDS
Another loaded position, well with a little common sense! Several prospects have played OT and a number the more incompetent GM's will insist they can play there at this level. THEY WILL BE WRONG!! Great OL are the backbone of success, sadly the powers that be fail to understand how to evaluate them.
