About Me/MY MISSION
My History/ My Vision
I was hooked on this game 11/25/71 when as a youngster I watched "The Game of the Century" Oklahoma/Nebraska. From that day on I was a College Football junkie and could never get enough. I watched every game I could, every highlight show I could, I stayed up late to watch Ohio St replays on PBS, watched the Notre Dame condensed replays on Sunday morning, predicted countless games every week. I voraciously devoured every piece of info from every and any media outlet I could get my hands on. This has continued for my entire life and I've acquired a great deal of knowledge. My Vision for this outlet is to provide an experienced but different viewpoint. Opinions not written by corporate drones, broadcast by puppets and governed by boardroom executives who care nothing about the games with the bottom line and not offending the almighty NCAA their only concerns. My Blogs will cover many subjects, Polls, Coaches, Schedules, Transfers, The NIL, Academics, Heisman, Recruiting, Attendance, Bowls, Media, Gaming, and whatever else makes me smile or draws my ire. With legalized sports betting soon to become common place I plan to give an interesting perspective on the ever-growing gaming industry with advice and honest post game examination. I will attack what I see as the "poisons" in the sport honestly, thoughtfully and intensely with the intent of creating dialogue and change for the betterment of the game.
Pre Season,Playoff, Realignment, Recruiting, Coaching/ Player movement
My Preseason will consist of season previews for all 134 teams. Playoff predictions, Conference predictions and a Top 25 but not until early October when we can truly tell what teams belong in there. I am 100% in favor of an extended playoff system and the abolishment of the Bowl System. Over 80 out of 130 teams will be in bowls this season. College Football is in dire need of realignment. Recruiting has become ridiculous and in interest of the Athlete/Student it also is in need of a new direction. With the new transfer system and the NIL this season will be full of firsts. Many will see this as the demise of the game but I feel it was quite necessary in today's climate. As the season progresses I will offer handicapper services with multiple daily gaming updates and HIGHLY innovative NFL Draft coverage.
Off Season, Coaches/Players who signed where, The Combine, NFL Draft
The Off-Season is not what it used to be. It requires year-round attention and that is what I'll bring here. Coverage and opinion on Coach/Player movement/transfers and the resultant effect on the balance of power. I plan to give a well-thought-out view on revamping the combine from its present archaic state and give very definite draft analysis both before and after and I will revisit all hits and hopefully few misses.
